This is super nice, especially wrt not even having to post! This might be a naive question, but does GitHub have any guarantees about their CDN? Will those images be guaranteed to exist in perpetuity at that URL? Or is this a "you're almost never going to have to worry about this and if you really do then you should be paying for a service" situation?

hah good question -- I have no idea but some that I've uploaded years ago are still working :)
When i do this it just shows the link with the alt text in the read me
This is so cool. Do we know the GitHub CDN has any limitations or restrictions?
guess im never paying for cloud storage again :)
... But I want to have my images versioned too, I think is better to upload the source like SVG or XCF. 🤷
