  • In this video I explain why EA Sports NAILED IT with their decision to rank the Georgia Football offense as the TOP OFFENSE in the country in it's unit rankings ahead of the highly-anticipated release of their College Football 2025 video game.
    In the process, I set the record straight and illustrate how the Georgia offense has evolved from a unit that held the Bulldogs back in the early years of the Kirby Smart tenure, to one of the most prolific and elite attacks in the entire country in recent years. #georgia #georgiafootball #ugafootball #georgiabulldogs #georgiabulldogsfootball #secfootball #collegefootball #easports #collegefootball25 #easportscollegefootball #carsonbeck #kirbysmart

    I think this will be Kirby best offense and second best defense of his UGA career. The Spring game reflects how both sides will look and both the offense and defense looks like the best in the country

      I think you might be right. I called my shot ahead of the 2022 season saying it would be the best UGA offense ever, but this one has a chance to surpass it for sure.

    I'm excited can't wait to see the product Kirby puts on the field with very little mental mistakes

      Me, too. A lot of veterans out there on that offense. Thanks for watching!

      That would sort of explain why UGA let a second rate bama team roll them in the conference championships last season.

    • @CinHotlanta
      @CinHotlanta 11 дней назад

      @@randolphkersey5155 These were the yards per pass when we played Bama and when Michigan played them:
      Georgia against Bama: 8.4 YPP
      Bama vs. Georgia: 8.3 YPP
      Bama vs. Michigan: 5.0 YPP
      Michigan vs. Bama: 8.2 YPP
      We got more YPP than Michigan, got more points and yards in regulation than Michigan. What was different? They made Milroe's life miserable, and we did not. They bottled up the Bama passing game and we did not. It was defensive underperformance, pure and simple. We over-respected his mobility by spying him and that made him a better passer. The Wolverines just came after him all day and he never got too comfortable.
      LSU, one of the most explosive offenses in the history of the sport, only managed 28. It's crazy to say we needed 30+ with our defense. The offense (with the hobbled Brock and Ladd) getting 24 on THAT Bama defense did their job. The defense rolling over for THAT Bama offense when that is our most stacked side of the ball was a big underperformance.

      @@randolphkersey5155 “roll them” is a bit hyperbolic, no? Georgia actually outgained Bama in that game, but made crucial mistakes that led to a three-point loss.

    Beck has to get more consistent with the deep ball this year.

    Don’t forget Michael Jackson lll. He’s a 6’5 WR from USC. He looks great. Colby Young looks to be pretty good too. & Anthony Evans & Arian Smith & Lovett and Thomas at WR. Georgias WRs are going to be great this season, and same with the TE room, especially with the most accurate passer in Georgia football history in Carson Beck 🔥 along with potentially the best offensive line in the country. & Trevor Etienne, Rodrick Robinson, and hopefully Branson Robinson 👀 will be back by the time the season starts. Like that’s a STACKED offense.

    • @gloryuga

      Jackson is only 6 ft. Smaller guy and has been nowhere near as productive and Young. Could be a solid option, but I don’t see him as a major impact player in 24. Could be wrong, though! Hoping I am!

      @@gloryuga yeah idk if Jackson will be an impact player for this season, but it’s now or never for him. He should have another year of eligibility after this year tho, so if not this season, then next season has to be the year for him to break out. There’s just a lot of weapons to use at WR, so I’m not sure how it’s going to play out either, but I’m very excited to find out 😁 & I really like Colby Young. I agree with you that Young should be more productive than Jackson this season.
      Enjoy your day man 😁

    AND Georgia is the *only* program to have a Top 5 scoring offense each of the last two seasons. Not only are the WR and RB rooms now STACKED, our OL is the best in the country and now we have an experienced QB returning who happened to be the top-rated QB from last season that did not depart for the NFL draft.
    And as you said the tired, old stereotype "Georgia doesn't throw the ball" is the product of ignorance - we've been in the Top 10 in yards-per-pass for three years now and have consistently averaged roughly 35 runs and 32 passes per game.
    Georgia is going to be *dealing* on offense this season.

    • @gloryuga
      @gloryuga  10 дней назад

      Agree on all counts! The stereotypes linger, but the numbers and production are clear. Georgia has changed the game offensively.

    The SEC is a different animal, and any ratings outside of that are to be viewed in context. UGA was #2 offense in the SEC last year and #1 defense. I don't see the problem:)
