Astartes got me into the lore. I can't afford/am too stubborn to learn the board game anyways. I have done like 4 custom chapter playthroughs in XCOM 2 though lol.
Haven't gotten into 40K so I couldn't tell you if it was accurate, but those rocket propelled bullets were sick snd very well animated. Very nice work.
Fear not, just play Dawn of War series (except 3), Space Marine, and watch Death of Hope, Lord Inquisitor, and Guardsman. I personally prefer to read the Horus Heresy to understand on how the mess that is 40k is all started

it's only a meme if all you look for in it are memes; if you never read the books, research the lore, sure..if you have 2 braincells to rub together though, it's clear to see that 40k has the best lore out of any other artistic universe out there atm.
