I love how in this game everyone can move forward in their own way, some will go directly through the aurora, others will prefer to go through the mushroom forest first, etc.
That really similar to what i experience in subnautica rn, my base somehow have almost all places in game near it and i explored them all and got EVERY upgrade for prawn suit but... I literally don't have prawn suit💀, it took me long enough to realise that i should go to aurora and get it from there, the game can be played from different sides but its all connected because if you wont explore atleast one zone that means you will probably wont able to have all stuff you needed

For anybody wondering, to safely dispose of leviathans with minimum resources you can use the stasis rifle and a knife/fire knife. Aim the stasis rifle at the head of the leviathan as there is no collision detection for the rest of their bodies. Then, knife the leviathan repeatedly and right before the stasis bubble is about to dissolve, bubble the leviathan again and repeat. Continue this pattern until the leviathan is dead. This way, leviathans become a lot less threatening and it actually becomes entertaining to hunt them. Interestingly enough, the bigger, slower and more predictable the leviathan is, the easier it is to bubble it. The ideal angle to stun it from is straight ahead, as it is rushing towards the bubble. The reason for this is that it is very difficult to miss the stasis rifle as you just have to aim right at the leviathan to hit it. If you miss, you can refire straight away before the predator reaches you. It can be pretty daunting the first few times you do it. After that, it becomes fairly harmless and the leviathans become more annoying to listen to than scary.

Gas Pods from Gastropods work a lot faster, takes 15 seconds at most. Or if on PC just use a mod to make Leviathans passive. The game is not supposed to be about killing, it is about exploration. Which is why there are no "guns" in the game.
@@jouaienttoi You're wrong on virtually every statement, maybe apart from the gastropod thing. Although gastropods are a very hard to control weapon versus a highly erratic leviathan. But good job convincing yourself that you need to mod a difficulty reducer into the game, to enjoy it.
@@guywiththebottle uh, maybe you're the wrong one. unknown worlds stated themselves that the game is a exploration game unintentionally-turned-horror. the game isn't about killing at all. also there are no guns in the game because of gun violence in the real world, specifically the sandy hook shooting. it's a game about saving the planet, not killing its inhabitants. also let people enjoy it on whatever difficulty they want to. shaming people for how they want to experience a game is kind of cringe bro
35:30 the Cyclops ran out of power because you parked and left it on Silent Running, which is a mode that drains a lot of power per second in order to reduce the sub's noise profile. you should only use it to avoid leviathans and such, and never leave it on because it'll drain the power cells. If you want the sub to be safe while parked, just shut down the engine and it won't make any noise :)
Yeah, from now on I'll have to turn it off and make sure nothing is running when not in use. Still so shocked at how much power was being drained from it!
First time experiencing this game was amazing. So many times I wanted to give up, because I thought the game didn't have any direction. Something within myself said "Keep Exploring" and every time I did, I felt an urge of excitement and fear. This game will scare the living crap out of you, if you have a fear or deep water. It took me 2 months to finish and it was the best experience of my life. Also finished pt. 2. Enjoyed that one as well
Its honestly so nice to hear someone's experience and what the deep sea waters does to them as well. Definitely a gem of a game and so much fun with Below Zero just as well! I will say the first one holds a place closer to my heart haha
The actual problem he had with the cyclops draining so fast wasn’t because of the prawn suit and as someone who’s fallen victim to this before let me just say: do *NOT* leave silent running on all the time, that thing drains the battery about as much as the shield. I left it on when I went to explore the Aurora and came back to a cyclops with absolutely no power, I had to borrow the one in my Seamoth.
I forgot what a fantastic story this game told without the story being the focal point of the game. You can see the care the devs put into this game. Great video man
I wish there was a small co op experience you could have with up to like 3 or 4 people. Almost like a submarine crew if you will. I feel like this adventure would have a unique experience if you could have a small crew. Someone can pilot the cyclops, someone can work defense, a couple of folks in Seamoths. Maybe throw in some different leviathans. I'd love to feel more hunted in the game. It gives me exhilaration when I hear the roar of a reaper. How many build observation decks right in the middle of reaper territory?
Now that would be such a different take with a lot more technical moves across the game. I think I would definitely be on the gun or some sort of offensive weapon when it comes to defending the submarine!
well 1 hour of Subnautica is always worth it to watch btw the reason of the Cyclops running out of energy was not the prawn suit it was you let it in silent mode and that mode consumes energy constantly.

Amazing video! What blows my mind is just how much our experiences in the game vary. My playthrough had a lot of similarities but I also explored and discovered things in a totally different order. Absolutely loved your narration of this video and you sounded so fun and entertaining.

It's crazy how many people were on the Aurora and everyone died except for you. Literally everyone who was jettisoned off in a lifepod had complications and died. Even the lifepod you were in had a catastrophic failure, it was on fire. What if you were knocked out for just a few more minutes, the fire would've engulfed the lifepod and you. Did Alterra cut costs when making their ships, or did the alien death ray do way too good of a job?
My guess is it was both, definitely the alien tech that shot the ship down, but also the integrity of the hull and what the corporation built their stuff out of
I'm so happy people are still playing this game- personally I haven't beat it because of the...everything in the water but it's fun watching others. I also wish they would play the "Alterra" boot up jingle more than once because it makes my ears very happy. Oh and I love your videos :).

Trust me, I completely agree to what you're saying and double down on the "100 Days" niche isn't the great thing. That said, the only reason why I started doing what I'm doing is to build up an audience or viewership that I could then take and branch out to even more creative stuff! I'm right there with you, even with the number of days I've done already. That and I really do love Valheim, this one was more to see how many people enjoyed the game and where I could branch to! How did you manage to make a 100 days vid of subnautica and beating it in that time and doing most of the story while still not giving away the story for people who havent played it and it still being enjoyable to watch is. Insane (For people who havent played subnautica, or watched about the story of subnautica, he cut out most of the main story so it didnt get spoiled which is really cool and awsome)(not sure if that was the real reason btw, thats just what i think he did which is still impressive if thats not what he ment to do)
It was actually a huge thing that I wanted to take away from the game, with just having it as a "My Own Experience" kind of thing rather then spoiling it for everyone! I will say, I did show a little bit here and there, but I did also have some comments asking where was this or that, or that really important thing haha. It's definitely not the same after beating it multiple times, though when you go back to the game it has this magic about it and makes you feel like it's the first time all over again! :D

I am taking too long to finish subnautica. I am always making intermediate bases, collecting resources like a beaver and an ant, and after manking the "small outpost bases" into a self-sufficent confor houses and draining all resources around or charting all interesting passages with beacons. But I am enjoying every part of it.
Yep, that's me too! I'm also the type that likes to go in the opposite direction just to see what's there before progressing stories....it's all about the exploration for me in any game I play.

Did the math if he waited for rescue with the 99999 hours he would have waited 11.456 years and would have waited that long just for the rescue ship to be destroyed again
2nd half felt rushed. But i can tell you put a lot of time, effort into this video and more so editing. I think overall really great video. I love this game. I feel one of best ever made. Story, exploration, craft, survival. Go at your own pace.
If I'm being completely honest, I will say that when I get to the end of some of the video's I've made of 100 Days, this one included, I do tend to run out of time and start to smoosh stuff together. That aside I do really appreciate you understanding the process and seeing where some of the work and time goes into. Really appreciate the support and you're right about that! Subnautica to me is like a Sunday Cartoon I'd wake up to and get excited for. It's a gem :P

I won't hide that at all because of the work that goes into the types of content. I will say that I'm getting better at planning how I record and edit stuff down. Ray i have a stupid idea. You know how in the beginning the rescue operation is dispatched in 99999 hours? Leave the game open that long and see of there is actually something. Its only 11.5 years.
I just finished watching (have been so busy that I just didn't have the time) but I'm so happy that I now was able to watch it! I laughed when you had to pause the game to get your breath because I experienced the same thing
Honestly, take your time and if you ever have the time then by all means! So never worry about not having time and that, focus on your stuff first :) Also, that moment where I tried fixing the prawn suit and the second I look behind me it's just there going in for the attack... even just thinking about it has me taking deep breaths lmao

The Reaper leviathans have incredible hearing like bats, When they scream and you hear it, that means he can locate where you are through echo detection💀, Says so when u scan it
@@RayofpandasGamingChannelI can explain what is ark : Ark is a survival game from ages ago where are dinosaurs. To escape the island you need to gather more recorces and tame Dinos and survive. More complicated recourses such as black pearls they are really hard to find. More complicated builds such as tek torso you need a lot of materials. There is a crafting menu where you can craft, and when you lvl up you get some points to unlock more complicated things such as : t - Rex saddle. Taming in the begging is gonna be small but when you lvl up you tame something like a t - Rex. To complete the game you need to get 10 artifacts. Each one is in each cave. 3 for brooth mother, 3 for megapitichus and 4 for dragon. After you beat the bosses you get their heads. On every boss fight you can only bring 20 Dinos. But it can’t be to big like a giga. T - rexes are recommended. After you get their heads you go to the volcano with 50 t - rexes. To make it easier you can make cycle pods to store the Dino’s In that then drop them off. You can craft Cycle pods in the things that drop out off the sky. After you get the heads and 50 Dino’s there put the heads off the bosses then open the door. Get your Dino’s in go fight and go forward. You will find a giga and you have to fight it. Then you go to the cold room then you activate a thing while your Dino’s are in there after taht get to the end of the mesuem and then fight the boss. Also forgot upgrade Dino’s to be better in health,weight,stamina,speed,damage you can do taht on your self. There are more types of Dino’s what they want some want berrys some want meat but some idk how to explain. So yea that’s everything I have for information.

The reason for this is that it is very difficult to miss the stasis rifle as you just have to aim right at the leviathan to hit it. If you miss, you can refire straight away before the predator reaches you. It can be pretty daunting the first few times you do it. After that, it becomes fairly harmless and the leviathans become more annoying to listen to than scary.

Gas Pods from Gastropods work a lot faster, takes 15 seconds at most. Or if on PC just use a mod to make Leviathans passive. The game is not supposed to be about killing, it is about exploration. Which is why there are no "guns" in the game.

35:30 the Cyclops ran out of power because you parked and left it on Silent Running, which is a mode that drains a lot of power per second in order to reduce the sub's noise profile. you should only use it to avoid leviathans and such, and never leave it on because it'll drain the power cells. If you want the sub to be safe while parked, just shut down the engine and it won't make any noise :)
Yeah, from now on I'll have to turn it off and make sure nothing is running when not in use. Still so shocked at how much power was being drained from it!

First time experiencing this game was amazing. So many times I wanted to give up, because I thought the game didn't have any direction. Something within myself said "Keep Exploring" and every time I did, I felt an urge of excitement and fear. This game will scare the living crap out of you, if you have a fear or deep water. It took me 2 months to finish and it was the best experience of my life. Also finished pt. 2. Enjoyed that one as well
Its honestly so nice to hear someone's experience and what the deep sea waters does to them as well. Definitely a gem of a game and so much fun with Below Zero just as well! I will say the first one holds a place closer to my heart haha

The actual problem he had with the cyclops draining so fast wasn’t because of the prawn suit and as someone who’s fallen victim to this before let me just say: do *NOT* leave silent running on all the time, that thing drains the battery about as much as the shield. I left it on when I went to explore the Aurora and came back to a cyclops with absolutely no power, I had to borrow the one in my Seamoth.

I wish there was a small co op experience you could have with up to like 3 or 4 people. Almost like a submarine crew if you will. I feel like this adventure would have a unique experience if you could have a small crew. Someone can pilot the cyclops, someone can work defense, a couple of folks in Seamoths. Maybe throw in some different leviathans. I'd love to feel more hunted in the game. It gives me exhilaration when I hear the roar of a reaper. How many build observation decks right in the middle of reaper territory?
Now that would be such a different take with a lot more technical moves across the game. I think I would definitely be on the gun or some sort of offensive weapon when it comes to defending the submarine!

It's crazy how many people were on the Aurora and everyone died except for you. Literally everyone who was jettisoned off in a lifepod had complications and died. Even the lifepod you were in had a catastrophic failure, it was on fire. What if you were knocked out for just a few more minutes, the fire would've engulfed the lifepod and you. Did Alterra cut costs when making their ships, or did the alien death ray do way too good of a job?
My guess is it was both, definitely the alien tech that shot the ship down, but also the integrity of the hull and what the corporation built their stuff out of

Trust me, I completely agree to what you're saying and double down on the "100 Days" niche isn't the great thing. How did you manage to make a 100 days vid of subnautica and beating it in that time and doing most of the story while still not giving away the story for people who havent played it and it still being enjoyable to watch is. Insane (For people who havent played subnautica, or watched about the story of subnautica, he cut out most of the main story so it didnt get spoiled which is really cool and awsome)(not sure if that was the real reason btw, thats just what i think he did which is still impressive if thats not what he ment to do)
It was actually a huge thing that I wanted to take away from the game, with just having it as a "My Own Experience" kind of thing rather then spoiling it for everyone! I will say, I did show a little bit here and there, but I did also have some comments asking where was this or that, or that really important thing haha. Really appreciate you understanding and taking notice in that Mex!
I had never seen footage of this game before seeing this video. By day 13, you already had a good base. I thought, "Man, by day 100, you'll be living a better life than you were before the incident happened."

I swear to god that those little bastards called CrashFish (the red fish that explodes)are the absolute bane of my existence, i hate them so much lol, nice vid too! Merry Christmas btw, i never came across a reaper but the CrashFish scared me more than any leviathan
The leviathan usually scare me from afar most of the time, but those darn crash fish are the true horrors living through out the game
I am taking too long to finish subnautica. I am always making intermediate bases, collecting resources like a beaver and an ant, and after manking the "small outpost bases" into a self-sufficent confor houses and draining all resources around or charting all interesting passages with beacons. But I am enjoying every part of it.
That's all that really matters when it comes down to the game, enjoying the process and doing what gives you the most fun!
Yep, that's me too! I'm also the type that likes to go in the opposite direction just to see what's there before progressing stories....it's all about the exploration for me in any game I play.

2nd half felt rushed. But i can tell you put a lot of time, effort into this video and more so editing. I think overall really great video. I love this game. I feel one of best ever made. Story, exploration, craft, survival. Go at your own pace.
If I'm being completely honest, I will say that when I get to the end of some of the video's I've made of 100 Days, this one included, I do tend to run out of time and start to smoosh stuff together. That aside I do really appreciate you understanding the process and seeing where some of the work and time goes into. Really appreciate the support and you're right about that! Subnautica to me is like a Sunday Cartoon I'd wake up to and get excited for. It's a gem :P

Ray i have a stupid idea. You know how in the beginning the rescue operation is dispatched in 99999 hours? Leave the game open that long and see of there is actually something. Its only 11.5 years.

Ark is a survival game from ages ago where are dinosaurs. To escape the island you need to gather more recorces and tame Dinos and survive. More complicated recourses such as black pearls they are really hard to find. More complicated builds such as tek torso you need a lot of materials. There is a crafting menu where you can craft, and when you lvl up you get some points to unlock more complicated things such as : t - Rex saddle. Taming in the begging is gonna be small but when you lvl up you tame something like a t - Rex. To complete the game you need to get 10 artifacts. Each one is in each cave. 3 for brooth mother, 3 for megapitichus and 4 for dragon. After you beat the bosses you get their heads. On every boss fight you can only bring 20 Dinos. But it can’t be to big like a giga. T - rexes are recommended. After you get their heads you go to the volcano with 50 t - rexes. To make it easier you can make cycle pods to store the Dino’s In that then drop them off. You can craft Cycle pods in the things that drop out off the sky. After you get the heads and 50 Dino’s there put the heads off the bosses then open the door. Get your Dino’s in go fight and go forward. You will find a giga and you have to fight it. Then you go to the cold room then you activate a thing while your Dino’s are in there after taht get to the end of the mesuem and then fight the boss. Also forgot upgrade Dino’s to be better in health,weight,stamina,speed,damage you can do taht on your self. There are more types of Dino’s what they want some want berrys some want meat but some idk how to explain. So yea that’s everything I have for information.
