After spending hours working on an online course for the PRINCE2 I have come across this video and it’s amazing how simple you have made the hours of studying I have done. Just brilliant and thank you for posting this which will be valuable to so many people studying the PRINCE 2.
Did you manage to get through and pass the exam? I am also on an online course. It’s really made so difficult. The presenter is the trainer who has no presenting skills at all. Really hard to understand her. Not a well designed course at all. Its like its made to make you fail. Lol
@@chetkh I managed to pass. Key thing is not to pressure yourself go through the course material a couple of times as each time you will understand more. Review some past exam questions and you will pass

I would appreciate an whole hour of this Lady bringing me close to Prince2. It was very helpfull, but also simple and interresting. I watched 3 Prince2 videos, 2 being over an Hour long, where I lost interest after the first 5-10 minutes and this one, I re-watched 2 times now, because it was so great and I did not yawn one single time. Remarkable.
My lecturer was "explaining" Prince 2 but so horribly, so I went on RUclips and this is so detailed, it makes so much sense. His slideshow copied yours but he couldn't explain anything in enough detail so thank you so much for making such a good video here
I did a lot of research to fetch the promising tutorials simply to comprehend and figure out the idea of PRINCE2 and how can be set into practically suitable and internalized, making it relevant to myself to add to my over 15 years of experience in project implementation and management, honestly, even I recommend to any other interested party to PRINCE2 - this stands as completely outstanding, simplified, generously presented, thank you so much for the time you're invested for the best interests of learners across the globe. May God bless you
Karen!!! you're an 'Angel' I want to say that you were born to be a blessing. you have really blessed me. I am determined to be a project manager though initially it sound confusing and discouraging because of lack of quick assimilation and understanding. But I believed that by the time I listen to this video again and again I'll be fine. thank you so much. I give the video a thumb up.
This video is excellent. In 30 minutes you've managed to give me more understanding of Prince 2 than a 3 day instructor led course! Copied response but it is exactly how I feel too!... finally!!!

This video has saved me hours of research into what PRINCE2 is and how to build up a project. thank you! i wish there were more videos like yours on youtube!!:)
This presentation has been a master piece as far as i concern....it puts together in a precise and short format...covering all the key ingredients needed that one needs to know
All I can say is thank you!!!! I've been studying part-time online and it is a challenge. The subject matter is interesting, and it's a career path I will be taking but WOW - information overload!! My retention is not great if I do not use what I've learnt , create that muscle memory. Anyway, having listened to your tutorial along with cottage pie analogy, my jumbled understanding of principles, processes, themes and tailoring are now settling down into some logical order. THANK YOU for helping me to connect this mind-blasting methodology to the real world!! :-))
Same. Im watching videos and taking test. I have the book and a word doc where i type stuff. Do you have any advice? Would appreciate as it is difficult doing it part time when u work full time. Lol
"This is absolutely Beautiful" You made PRINCE2 methodology like as easy as spending a Little time to a Little PRINCE.. Thank you so much for a very brief and incisive lecture.
Thank you! I have had difficulties retaining quite a lot of the online course that I’m doing through the ilx portal. This has simplified a lot of it for me and answered loads of my questions. Thank you again!
Really excellent presentation. Don’t be put off by the initially mundane/bureaucratic vibe. The presenter knows her stuff and runs though Prince2 in a clear, understandable manner

Hi Karen, Thank you so much for making Prince2 basics so simple, I attended foundation training also, but this short video, boosted up my self confidence quickly. Appreciate your efforts to make complex topics very simpler with simplest example. Keep it up.
thank you this, got a job interview and do not have prince2 so having a basic understanding is really helpful. You delivered it in a concise and easy to understand way, this was really helpful for me as new to PM and come from an IT Management background so all new (and scary). thank you
@@Gav_80085 I did get the job which is great, not done the prince2 as our organisation is not ready for that yet but so many things from it I have implemented. good luck.
Thank you Karen, this was very informative and helpful. I have one comment, and it will most probably be an annoying one, so I should qualify it by saying that I am an English language teacher. When we conjugate the verb "to be" in the past simple or preterite tense, it follows: I was, you were, he/she/it was, we were, you (plural) were, they were. So, when you introduced the sentence with, 'If you was... etc.', it should be, 'if you were... etc.'. Alternatively, you could say: 'If we were... etc.'; or, 'If one was... etc.'. Sorry to come across like the 'grammar police', but I really believe that specifics like this are important to highlight, so that students of English learn the correct forms.
explaing the proccesses along with the Themes, thats brilliant!..zero fat tutorial!..just love it..THANK YOU THANK YOU VERY MUCH.from DR Congo,Bukavu...thumbs up.
Sorry to keep adding comments...I'll add them as I think of them, and mind you, I find this video very helpful and informative. Quality. This is too vague conceptually. In the TQM rubric, it means conformance to specification, but in the world of the every day it means 'really good'. I prefer the term 'performance' A project has to deliver a particular performance in its products to enable the customer to reliably achieve a desired outcome. "Performance" suggests there will be performance criteria or metrics that will need to be achieved.
