EPISODE 1
HIT THE ROAD (LEARNING TO TRUST GOD WITH OUR BIGGEST WORRIES)
Genesis 12:1-5 The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and
your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great
nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless
those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth
will be blessed through you.” So Abram departed as the LORD had instructed, and Lot went
with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran. He took his wife, Sarai, his
nephew Lot, and all his wealth-his livestock and all the people he had taken into his
household at Haran-and headed for the land of Canaan.
THE THREE BIGGEST WORRIES IN WHICH WE MUST TRUST GOD:
1. I CAN TRUST GOD WITH MY FAMILY.
Psalm 103:17-18 But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His
salvation extends to the children’s children of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those
who obey his commandments!
2. I CAN TRUST GOD WITH MY FINANCES.
Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple.
If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will
pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the
test!
3. I CAN TRUST GOD WITH MY FUTURE.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and
not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
