I cant believe I have go to youtube just to see how to open this box. Somehow I have the hardest time i almost try to pry it open to get into my food. Is there a technique?
Same, I got it last week and take it with me today. I do open the flap first and pull both handles straight up. But it still takes a lot of strength to open it?? And also, I can open it with much grip, sideways, but that way it would all fall out..
For me I struggle to make my egg-salad sandwiches with the square ones because I don't know what to do with the other half and there's no dividers that come in the packet
They are straightforward to open; you just need to open the little rubber thing first :P And yes, they are a bit expensive, but I have had mine for over 2 (maybe 3?) years and still do not see any faults with it. For comparison, my IKEA lunch box had already broken long before, which also became harder to wash as the stains still remained. In the Mombento, the stains are not visible. So, I would recommend this lunch box if you have the money and like its design; if not, there are other less expensive options you could try.
to make it clear it's not about the money, it's just that it's stupid to buy something expensive and have to search on youtube how to open it easily (and fail)
Big thumbs down - you need to see if it fulfills the basic criteria: is it leakproof? If not, its just a pretty box with a pretty bag and zero utility.
Mine have never leaked, and I have used soup in it multiple times. However, you need to ensure that the lid is tightly secured. That can be done by opening the rubber thing, pressing the lid down to release air, and attaching the rubber thing again to create a vacuum.
Thanks for the vid! You'll have an easier time opening the containers if you keep the suction opened:)
Good to know the food jumps everywhere

You pull the tab up to let air in then take the lid off, hope this helps :)

@@Cheshir3 Same here... :/
The best technique is to buy a different brand
The tab on each lid is good to pull for opening but is also for microwave.
Needs a lot more dividers and stuff to keep food separate...
you can buy dividers on their online store :)
@@jennamcintyre9314 Thx - but they should come with them.. can't cost more than 0.05 to produce!

Hello! Quick question. Can you put hot food in it? Or do you have to cool it down first😅/cold food only? Thank you! :)

Can u give link were to buy the full set
I want it pls

Looks hard to open. When filled with food, might just spill out when you pry those tightly sealed lids open.
I think that's because you're supposed to release the airtight seal with the little hole thingy first, then open it.
@@rachelS0125 so far, removing doesn't help
Thank you so Much💕❤️
thanks for the unboxing :)
Made In France 👍
DON'T BUY MONBENTO !!! It's so hard to open it's ridiculous!! And its expensive, what a waste of money
