@ she was saying the pvd coater that was used has quite doing the one off stuff. Have you found another that will do the rainbow tye dye pvd beyond the normal chameleon rainbow pvd?

I'd like to see a video of the Apollo 11. My brother just got one and he's having problems with failed to fully battery and a few nose down feeds. Changed some springs got it to run with 20rd mags but had failures with the 17rd mags still.
I have the Apollo 11 compact , swapped to a staccato grip and trigger and DP guide rode and (13#)recoil spring , colt sear spring tuned it a bit and it shoots great. Like to see the EAA BRAT and what you can do with it.......
Okay Skip, what would you lean to: Live Free Armory Apollo 11 MAC 1911 or Fusion XP Pro LFA in bronze/fde in 4.9 is perfect for v ports was where I was leaning for a budget but capable 1911/2011. Then the XP Pro although it is only the 4, your videos and the work on realrons made me pivot AND then you dropped your budget series for the MAC and well I can't buy all three lmao 😅😂 so what would you do having handled all of them?
Brother skip, you advised me to buy atlas mags to resolve the issue that the stock mags have of stripping rounds. I.e. if you insert mag, then remove mag to top it off, a round will strip off and fall out of magwell. Here's my question if you would be so kind as to answer....what can be done to fix the mags that came with the gun? I would love it if you got curious enough to puzzle solve on this. I know you have a Ganga mags around and probably never wasted your time with the ones provided, but this is my first 2011 ...need them mags to work. I'll say thank you in advance because you problem solve on the daily! Thanks.
At 4:00 what slide is that on the MAC 9? I'm thinking of tri-topping either my Tisas or the MAC 9 and doing a V-6 ports through slots. Does YT de-monitize videos showing mods or simply bans them all together? Thanks, Ken
@@SkipsGunz Thanks I've actually seen both vids at least 2-3 times, just didn't remember the cuts in the slide. Trust me it happens at 70. I subbed a couple of days ago when I stumbled across the #2 video. I need to check out TheLifeofRon also. So if I do this on one of my manual mills I guess I can video the process for my own entertainment. LOL Thanks again.

@skipsgunz why do you keep saying you're using "extra strength firing pin spring" to avoid light primer strikes. It would cause light primer strikes not alleviate them

I like the idea of taking a cheaper budget gun and then throw everything into the gun. Kind of no budget on all the things you do to it. Make the budget gun the best gun possible.

Not buy the Apollo if your truly after a budget and go with either that suites u best after Glock mags or 2011mags

Sorry, insert mag, chamber a round...then drop the mag and the top round in the mag will strrip off/fall out.
That just happens it’s the design of the mag just don’t remove the mag after loading it. It’s the best advice on that unfortunately
