man I forgot all about this song. this used to be my jam. I heard it for the first time on a Bonnaroo free CD they gave us at the gate in 2007 I believe. I just watched a house episode and heard it and it took me back
That's what I love about them and their music. It's not generic and bland like 99% of the stuff out there. This band has some serious talent when it comes to playing their instruments and you hear it in their music.
I love “ New “ music ! Really what I mean is that I’m just discovering this band now . I’m an former 80’s and 90’s rocker ( bands - lifestyle - all of it ). Anyway - I watched “ Three Billboards of Ebbing Missouri “ about a year ago . There was one song that really got my attention ( the scene where a police officer throws another guy out a window ). Such an Epic scene really because although tragic , the background music playing is by “ Monsters of Folk “. The song is called “ His Masters Voice “. I was captivated! This guys voice is just full of passion you can feel it with every syllable. Anyway - I’m just beginning to find out more about these guys . I am rather impressed and sorry it took so long to find them .
Haha very funny this episode of American Dad ! I didn't know that group before seeing it ! Good music. I will listen a few songs in order to discover it !
I'm from Cali, have lived all over the country in the past 25 yrs, Seattle to Miami, Boston to LA and i tell you no lie's....Louisville Kentucky is a town with a cool, quirky vibe man. Kinda country mixed with bohemian hippie , with a touch of rap and soul. 80% of the herb that is grown and sold within the U.S. is grown in Kentucky. Halfway between Nashville and Indianapolis (which i've lived in both) and would take Louisville over both no questions.
The Portland show a few weeks ago was awesome! They are one of my favorite live shows... DO NOT MISS THEM IF THEY COME TO YOUR AREA! This is good, but live they are better.
Hi Guys, huge MMJ fan, been away on a musical journey of discovery.Rival Sons,Wooden Shjips,Tame Impala,Mercuy Rev,Buffalo Killers,Flaming lips and many more.Im so grateful for all the great music, people have recommended.Just wanna give something back, enjoy.
American Dad turned me onto Jim James and my morning jacket their music rules hopefully now they have gotten more publicity more people like myself will lokk up their music it rocks
io nel 2006 ho avuto la fortuna di sentirli dal vivo come gruppo spalla al concerto dei Pearl Jam a Torino.... Fantastici.....forse ero l'unico che sotto il palco cantava le loro canzoni!!!!
That riff will never ever get old
I've been looking for this song for my whole life.
The intro and outro is otherworldly. It instantly transports you to those days. Beaten by the sun. Unreal.
they rock, and are relaxing, energizing and groovy all at the same time.
I love My Morning Jacket.
❤
