Unlike many RUclipsrs who talk too fast you are an excellent instructor. You tell us what you are going to do, tell us how to do it and go over what you did. I learned something new and very essential in my work of restoring discolored negatives with bad color channels. Thank you.
I have been using PS since the 1990's, PS5.5 on a Windows 3.1 box and in all this time I have never learned as much, in a short space of time as I have done, since subscribing to your channel. Your are a first class communicator and educator! Not only do you demonstrate a technique, you also go on, in great detail, as to how and why the technique works. A thousand thanks.
Thank you so much! I found an old photo that I'm going to give as a Christmas gift and was struggling with getting rid of red streaks from the film, I think a light leak. This video helped so much and it looks awesome now. Very helpful and clear instruction.
I know this video is a few years old, but just needing the technique now... This doesn't seem to work with B&W... I'll try and figure out that angle, but if you have any thoughts, that would be great! Love the channel...has improved my Photoshop skill ten-fold!!!
I can't figure out how to do this in Adobe Elements 2020. The Hue/Saturation layer doesn't show the eye dropper unless you pick a color but moving the adjustment arrows don't remove the color like in your video. Anu thoughts?
You are amazing! I hope yo didn't learn all these from any master but yourself as only a self taught person knows the depth. Pls have some tut on interior digital.photography
I can make this work for certain flat images and colors, but it unfortunately doesn't work for the work I'm doing, where I'm trying to remove major stains from photos of classical sculpture (I'm digitally restoring these pieces). Even if I literally cut out the stained portion and just run the H/S adjustment layers on that, it still can't catch the variation in the stain, no matter how many layers I use. Great technique for flat monochromatic stains, though.
There is nothing wrong with "Talking to Photoshop" as he is implying we should be telling Photoshop what we want to do, as opposed to "Talking Photoshop" which would be talking all about Photoshop.
one more friendly advice..... Instead of that dell Logo, you can simply print your channel's logo in color and put instead of that Dell Logo... it will look more good and attractive :) by the way, nice tutorial.
am also trying to remove an oil spill or water on concrete and this is not working so much. But I am surprised by his technique. Very skilled man for sure!

Great video as always, but a little tip for you is to change the text in the intro to "let's talk photoshop" (without the "to") so it sounds right.
