i remembered my aunt being abused by her husband and used to hide in our house everytime it happens while she is nervous and shivering and have bruises..her husband is getting wild outside and looking for her... we will call the cops, but after she will go back to him coz of their children til she can't take it anymore and left him taking their children with her...i am glad she did...now she is happy...

Martha sought help from Julia to hide from the jerk hubby, David. He needs to go to jail for abusing his wife, domestic violence is not a light sentence with a lengthy prison term. This jerk must be punished!!!

Maybe its a language barrier thing since I don't thinks these actors normally speak english based on their accents but It was not lost on me that he kept referring to her as "MY Martha". Granted the possessive pronoun "my" can also mean a RELATIONSHIP or a MEMBERSHIP like MY country or MY father but....
It can also mean POSSESSING SOMETHING like MY car or MY money.....
Its not lost on me that he acts like she BELONGS TO HIM like a possession.
