Could you please do a video about Master K’Kruhk? Dude seemingly lasted from the Clone Wars to the Legacy Era, seeing the Return of the Jedi under Grand Master Luke Skywalker and the rise of the One Sith. That’s a long-ass time.
Crazy how, even on barren Planets with only a handful or possibly a single Biome, our characters of all sorts of Species, are able to easily breathe. ESPECIALLY on planets or moons like the Citadel, where half of the damn mantle itself is split asunder 😅
This is actually the in universe reason why humans are the most dominant species in Star Wars. Humans are far more adaptable and have a strong drive to expand. We outcompete other species.
I was expecting another Smuggle's Tale, but instead, we get a video on the species of the great Jedi Master K'Kruhk. A surprise to be sure, but a welcomed one. Also, I bet 200 Credits, a crate of Spice, and two Death Sticks, on a Whipid beating a Wampa in arm wrestling.
K'Kruhk was one of the best jedi in Star Wars history. He was strong, wise and kind and he survived the jedi purge and became a member of jedi council in the new jedi order.
I enjoyed learning more about the whiphid people, there was so much i didn't know about them.A truly fascinating species that not only survive, but also understand the importance of cooperation. Fun fact: whiphids can live up to 249 years.
One could say that many of these planets are home to diverse biomes, Coruscant you might describe as a "City" biome, yet it will have industrial sectors, lower levels, upper levels, and governmental sectors that vary greatly in nature. Tatooine has the rocky areas that people actually live in, the Dune sea where only sand and wild things lie, the Cave country where Krait Dragons stalk, settlements like Mos Eisley and Mos Espa. Mon Cala/Dak has the islands that the Calamari build their cities in, the deap ocean trenches where Quarren dwell, coral reefs where fish flock. In short, when done well even if these worlds have general themes to them they can have diverse biomes, just not in the Terro-centric concept that we know best.
K'Kruhk is a character and Jedi I respect a lot. Shame Disney won't put him on the big or small screens. I'm sure he would've rocked with the fans. I wonder who could've played him?
Don't see how ice trading would be a viable economic model for the Whipids. Anyone can make ice themselves, unless there was something real special about the ice on their world.
08:21 🤣 Man that got me.
But yeah it's that season I guess 🤧
Awesome video tho👌😌

Good idea
I agree. That guy was awesome.
@@crazyviking24 I too agree. Kkrukh was a awesome dude.
This is why your channel rocks! Thank you for all your work making the sometimes overwhelming SW galaxy so easy to digest!

What books does he show up in?
@@stingerjohnny9951 I don't know about books but comics were many.
@@vitorpereira9515 any graphic novel recommendations? I prefer reading full compilations rather than piecemeal issues?
@@stingerjohnny9951 Star Wars Dark Times 6-10. Go to read comics online and please give me your review abou him please.
I seem to recall that he fled to safety with a number of Jedi younglings that he protected and trained.

I thought that they were immortal meaning that they couldn’t die of old age and could therefore live forever.
@@jfournerat1274 that would be awesome if they were.
@@CloneScavengerVulpin8389 I agree with you.
Funny how he didn't mention in the intro that nearly all Star Wars planets have only one biome.
He sorta did in a roundabout way if you think about it
Facts 😅

Cold living, yes, but never cold-hearted. Such as they are, you could say that they're a cool bunch.
Sadly, I vote Wampa.
What about the arm wrestling match between a Whipid and a Wookie?

Maybe the guy who played The Mountain in Game of Thrones?
@@GobPalRosieVT---Interesting choice. Thanks.
I had never heard of the Whipid. I think one Whipid would beat a Wumpa in an arm wrestle.
The whipid are very cool species and one of my favorite l want to see more them in future of star wars they were made for the Cold
Perfect video. Currently reading Red Harvest by Joe Schreiber, which features a Whipid. Recommendation for a great horror read!
You know I happen to be a furry giant myself ŪwÙ
Really curious to see a whipid and wookiee arm wrestle
Whipid wins
Whooly Space Hippopotamus you say?
Whippersnapper.
Finally a video on the Whiphids, I've been waiting for this 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Please talk about the D1 aerial battle droid in your next video please.
The question is whether the Whipid or Wookie would win.
Would love to see Chadra Fan video
The Senate adapts to ALL of his enemies.
bro sniffed so loud i jumped out of my skin
must be writing the script on site
A whole video about Whipids and not a SINGLE mention (as in, actually talking about) of K'kruhk?!
I would've brought up macaques gathering at hot springs in Japan instead of Africa. If only because of the thermal relation
Glorious
That sniff scared the shit out of me
thank you for identifying the species of the Jedi master that battled Grevious in Clone Wras 2003

Who you think would win in a dual vader vs k'kurhk and quinlan vos geetsly?
To me, they look like giant bipedal wild boar.
They’re totally supposed to be boars
They're like harry snow hippos.
8:22 Did you just sniff me bro?
What about J'Quille?
What was with the giant sniff at 8:22 lol
the winner is ewok
