This is something I try to teach my children; no matter your job, you should do it to the best of your ability. Of course, these people have gone above and beyond and elevated themselves to being one of the best ever at what they do. And why not? It helps so much to give yourself goals and maybe sometimes even make it a competition (with yourself).
No matter the job, never just "show up" for anything you do. And please never be that person who thinks they are "better" than the job, so they suck at said job. Does that make sense to anyone with any intelligence? If you are better or "above" that job, you should be crushing it. Right?
If you think you are overqualified, then u should very quickly be coming up with new and more efficient ways to complete that job. You should show and hopefully feel pride in yourself, your job, and the company you work for. And then you know what happens? You prove yourself and your abilities and you start moving up in the company.
But then heck, if you don't want to wait and you know you're so amazing, then you should be able to jump right in and start your own company.
