    Thank you for posting this. Looking at this slide in class made me want to cry and you made it make sense in just a few minutes.

    Thanks a lot washingtondeceit. I have hated histology and path for most of my medical training (6 years) until seeing these video tutorials! It's so much better than sitting, staring at bland words and pictures in a fat textbook!

    Allow me to add to the multitude of thank you comments! After pounding notes into my head all day, your videos are a nice way to relax yet still review the material I've just gone over.

    3rd yr. med student interested in path. I am currently almost through my 6 week surg-path rotation and I have to thank you for these videos. I review a few daily before attending sign-out and they have helped immensely! Thanks again for all the time and wisdom!

      Hey buddy. Probably a long shot but just curious - did you make it? I hope you're an awesome practicing pathologist these days. I'm a 4rth yr. med student applying to path this cycle. I'm almost through my surg-path rotation and verbatim feel the same way today as you did 10 years ago! All the best.

    I did a quick search for "histology colon" in response to a question on tumor staging. For those of you moving in the other direction, wondering about the pathology of the colon, here's the T of TNM:
    T0: no evidence of CA
    Tis: carcinoma in situ
    T1: invades submucosa
    T2: invades muscularis propria
    T3: through the mp into subserosa or nonperitonealized pericolic/perirectal tissues
    T4: organ/tissue invasion or perforates the visceral peritoneum of specimen

    I think between the longitudinal and circular muscles we have auerbach ganglion not myenteric

    • @eirikdegard4498
      @eirikdegard4498 5 лет назад +1

      The myenteric plexus, also known as Auerbach's plexus, is located between the longitudinal and circular muscle layers. You both have right:))

      That was meant as a frustrated students reaction, partly meant in a funny way. Wow, your reply is not fitting for such an otherwise good channel.
