Hi! To anyone who may also be experiencing this black screen of death, don't panic. All it really needs is the battery to drain for it to restart. It's usually just a firmware issue caused by MIUI most likely. It is inconvenient to wait for it to drain tho but what I did was plug it to my computer to let it drain. The computer could detect the phone it just doesnt turn on
big idea. I was thinking about how to drain the battery in the well, but I didn't think about connecting it to the computer. I'll test and come back to comment. I believe it will work!
Mine was fixed, then i rebooted the phone (update) after 4 days of use, thinking it has moved on with the issue (fixed), suddenly it wont turn back on, Now that my phone has experience being fix, i returned to this video for the methods, sadly it still doesn't work just like before
I have a solution I hope you can solve the problem because I am the one who accidentally rebooted the phone and it won't turn on I did all the ways I was desperate for a week sent to the repair shop the phone technician said it can't be fixed I'm very sorry and so I leave my phone for 1 week, don't charge the battery. I repeat, don't leave it for 1 week. After 1 week, if you are sure that your phone battery is absolutely dead, try plugging in the charger. If the battery percentage goes up, your device is back to normal, good luck. Don't despair, believe me because I'm more desperate than you and more desperate than many people, but I was able to get through it.
I've tried this but wasn't successful. I let the battery drained, after plugging it to charger the battery sign came up, after 1% the "poco" sign came but when I pressed the power button the phone backed to dead boot, it didn't respond. I've tried this in 11%, 31% and 72%. Some told me that its cpu is the problem...

I tried doing this without watching this video, and my phone did not boot up, I gave up and slept but after a few hours (not sure if reached 3 hours, or maybe 3-4) it worked with only the first step. This also happened after the update. Anyway, hope this helps for everyone else out here.
I have another solution. Press and hold the power button and volume up at the same time for 10-15 seconds. Then, the POCO logo should appear on screen. After that, it will take you to the recovery mode. Select "Reboot" by pressing the power button then press the power button again. After that, your phone should reboot now. Hope it works for you guys :)
My camera don't work and when i reboot my phone it wont turn on (this happen 2 times ;-;) Latest problem is the phone wont turn on after update This is how i managed to get my phone working again : 1)Drain the battery (let the phone untouched for about 3 days) 2)After it's drained, charge for about 5 mins (its okay if there's no display, its normal) 3)Press power button + volume up button simultaneously until something pop up on screen 4)Let the phone charge for awhile, it should be turning on by itself in a few seconds Hope it helps :D
This video was really helpful the last time this happened to me💜..but this time it didn't work.first time fast boot option worked but last time I had to unplugg the battery and hold the power key for 30seconds to drain the power in motherboard..and when I plugged the battery I quickly hold the power key and it turned on,so I didn't had to wait until the battery drain. 😉 After this I searched for a permanent easy solution, and I saw someone said if you disabled the poco launcher this problem won't occur again, so I did that like a fool, but in the next day my phone was dead again, but this time nothing I mentioned early was working, tried everything😐 So I want to know of there's any way that I can turn on this again, like can you install an older miui version like miui 11 when the phone is not responding like this? I didn't restarted my phone for about five days or a week idk? And last thursday, I restarted it. I know it is the worst decision i've ever made for that phone but i did it actually. And saturday, the battery drained and i am so happy because finally, somthing flashed out on the screen after long days of nothing and i plugged it on chrger ofcourse. I waited it to be fully charged, and when it is 100 percent, i thought it's gonna be okay but it went dead again, won't turn on until now. What am I gonna do? It's so annoying.
My Poco M3 goes off once I start watching a video on RUclips. The ba3 drains real quick. It's just goes off from 50% and would take a long time to turn on. It always goes off once my data is on. I think there is an issue with Poco M3

Whoever is going thru this experience let me tell you my experience. So I updated and after 2 days I restarted my phone.it went blank and completely didn't turn on. After that I saw these videos for the solution and nothing worked it was completely dead. Gave to a local phone repair service and they said nothing can be done. I was so depressed after they told me that. I came home and left my phone alone for 2 days and the battery completely drained. Not giving up I put the phone into the charger and the charging logo showed up and boom I pressed start and it came on. I'm happy to tell you I'm typing this on said phone as we speak. So if the steps don't work for you leave the phone to completely drain and then connect to the charger and restart it
Update: the problem persisted and I went to a xioami repair shop and got the motherboard changed. It was covered by warranty cause it was less than a year. Sadly, all data on my phone got wiped clean. Make sure to backup your data to a hard drive and then get your phone motherboard changed.

This is my first Deadboot experience, i didn't do any (Firmware)update to my phone.. In my case I've just forget to turnoff the Data|Wifi and accidentally reboot the phone.. However my phone is still alive, cause i can boot it for several times, but when i reboot or shutdown my device, and try to turn it on won't work its too difficult now, need to wait a minute to Turn on my device W/ or W/o charger will work.. Can i ask a question ? I also think i trigger something in the Firmware|Software before this happen suddenly i dont think so about the hardware is the issue.. Should i Format|Clean Flash my phone ?
If these steps didn't work you gotta follow these steps. (WORKS STILL IN 2023) All you need is patience and the charger You have to long press it for ten seconds just like in the step number 1 if it didnt work if there is no lowbat signs or anything just a black screen. Leave it for atleast 1 week do not touch it or press it after you finish the step 1 because you have to drain the battery first. Then after a week try to hold the power button for 10 seconds and you will see there is a low battery sign and plug it on the charger and do the step 1 again.

Poco m3 user here. Kanina lang sya nagblock out. Naghahang sya kanina then I start to reboot and then hinintay kong mabuhay ala parin. I try both step but nothing happened. I think nagshut down system kaya ganun. Papatingin ko po ito bukas sa technician if ano ang problem. Ganyan din yung akin. Nag pa palit na ako ng battey pero ganun pa din. Ni reboot ko. Namatay pa din. Kinabukas inopen ko nag open naman. Pero parang di sa battery ang problem. Possible baka sa hardware ng phone.
Hey guys just wanna share this because for me this mostly happened after I change the booting theme animation...After I change it, every time I tried closing my phone, it never opened again... So what I did is just simply turning back my rebooting animation to default again...

charge and put you're phone on a hot surface, (i put mine above the fridge since its hot) dont unplug once the phone is hot, then you long press the power button,

Latest problem is the phone wont turn on after update
This is how i managed to get my phone working again :
1)Drain the battery (let the phone untouched for about 3 days)
2)After it's drained, charge for about 5 mins (its okay if there's no display, its normal)

Happened to mine i just wait for it to drain(u need to wait days depending how much percent it have) and it will show drain battery logo i dont use high vlt charger bc it wont work i just wait for it to have enough charge and open it then back to the original charger
Poco m3 user here. Kanina lang sya nagblock out. Naghahang sya kanina then I start to reboot and then hinintay kong mabuhay ala parin. I try both step but nothing happened. I think nagshut down system kaya ganun. Papatingin ko po ito bukas sa technician if ano ang problem. This is very important especially nandito lahat ng file ko for school and nakasulat sa notes ang mga answer sa activity. Sana mabuksan sya

The problem is after the phone start ,erase data and reflash to the latest firmware after reboot did that again
Hey guys just wanna share this because for me this mostly happened after I change the booting theme animation...After I change it, every time I tried closing my phone, it never opened again... So what I did is just simply turning back my rebooting animation to default again...
i changed my theme animation yesterday and it’s been 24 hours and my phone is still not opening, help 😢

Hi, this was insane happening, im being paranoid now. and i dont like again to reboot my phone.
charge and put you're phone on a hot surface, (i put mine above the fridge since its hot) dont unplug once the phone is hot, then you long press the power button,
perfectly works on mine
it takes atleast 1 hr of heating
the boot up took too long, just dont interrupt the phone while it's booting

9hours po pwede din or 12hours saken po kase 10hours
this might help. just put it on the freezer for an hour. and boom it will work again.
