This book is so much different from the Red Queen. I’m very surprised with it, actually, and I’m maybe like 25% through Realm Breaker. I don’t really care for stories that don’t explore the characters, but this one caught my attention, so that is pretty good… I really like Sorsha. I think that’s her name. She’s pretty cool and I can’t wait to see what comes of her.
Im so happy that is actually a good book :D i want to read it so much! I just wish the author maybe deep a bit more on characters, maybe on the sequel I totally think that should be a new adult!!
Forget the author (Abercrombie or Hobb) but they said it doesn't matter how brutal your world is, if the main protagonist is a 19 year old girl, your book is considered YA. That's the nature of the business.
I apologize if you already answered this but does this book have any explicit violence or sexual content?? also is there any witchcraft in it or anything similar?? thanks so much! :)
Hmm I'd say there's a little bit of all those things, it's a very typical fantasy. Violence because there's a lot of battles between the characters, but it's not too bloody or gory. There are no explicit sexual scenes, but there's a bit implied. And one of the characters is an old woman who is considered a witch by the others (I don't remember if they call her that, but it's a bit implied as well), and there's magic, good and bad, in the story.
I can see your holding and ARC..to me its a biased opinion when one give a review. And I don't mean it in a rude way. Of course, if you receive the Arc from the author, your automatically going to feel the need to praise it. I like hearing reviews of people who had to pay for the novel.
I don't think the author had any motivation. The book is a flat out train wreck. I returned my copy to the store and got a refund. I don't even want it on my shelf. I can see you're struggling to describe Realm Breaker. The book makes as much sense as predictive text.
@@jamesmccarthy6764 I only had the book overnight. I bought it in the late afternoon and returned it the next day. I sat down to read it that night and realized almost immediately that it wasn't a book that I wanted for my library. Books A Million accepts returns, with the receipt and as long as it's not damaged, for up to thirty days.
@@bohannon2692 there was a great deal of discontinuity in the writing, that made me feel like I'd skipped sentences. I'd be reading and it didn't make sense, so I'd backtrack and double check. It gave me that feeling you get when you start a book, put it aside for awhile, and then try to start up again, and realize that you don't remember any of the plot. It made my brain feel scrambled. I've been a life long reader and have completed , just this year, the first four of the Throne of Glass series, Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, Cinder, Red Queen, A Curse So Dark and Lonely, Strange the Dreamer and Muse of Nightmares, The Cruel Prince and The Queen of Nothing, King of Scars, and I finished the Mistborn trilogy last year, so I am familiar with fantasy writing.
I am severely disappointed, the prolog was SO info dumpy and I found myself being very confused. To many points of view where the book seems scattered, but I'm glad that people could enjoy it.

I agree that it's very different, but it still feels like the same author for me, I don't know. I hope you love the whole book! =D

Be careful this an extremely slow story nothing happens at all there’s no action in this except for the prologue and it meanders

I didn't know you could return a book just because it's bad or you didn't like it. Is that a one-off?

@@teresaharris-travelbybooks5564 so your judging a book when you barely even read it? Are you sure your a reader because lots of books start slow
