Came to Boston from England in July. Back Bay is a fantastic base to stay if you are visiting this city.

Had an office at 222 Newbury Street and am so grateful for that privilege. "Boston is my Hometown!"

I was there for about three months, starting the month you were filming this video. Boston is a very large and beautiful
city located in a small geographic spot.

Beautiful architecture! I thought Americans can’t build beautiful buildings

There’s a cool picture of Steven Tyler and Joe Perry from the 70’s in front of 270 Newbury Street (can look it up) it looks pretty much the same

Oh, haha -- I thought you meant there was a poster in the window or a mural or something. Yeah, cool picture. There used to be a cool mural on Newbury at Dartmouth Street, but it faded very quickly unfortunately. If you google Cafe DuBarry mural, you can see pictures.

6:10 That intersection had only a couple of stop signs for decades, and then they not only changed it to a stoplight but then made the light interminably long. People wonder why people jaywalk in Boston -- it's because planners make incompetent decisions. I could write a catalog of intersections where the traffic signals were set up by people who clearly did no research into how the intersection should function.

Just subscribed. Might I suggest a little background music?? Let's collaborate sometime!

We don't agree with you at all, about adding music. Most vloggers just throw on (often cheezy and/or distracting) music , " just because." This video on the other hand, very nicely combines the local Boston sights with the local Boston sounds (of people, local music, traffic noise). Very real, very authentic Boston. Adding music would absolutely destroy that local authenticity.

Nice video. Sadly, it appears that obesity is quite common in Boston based on that video. More obesity than in New York City. We wonder why that is?

Gallop did a study based on Body Mass Index (BMI) and ranked each state from fattest to thinnest with #1 having the most obese people and #50 having the least obese people.
Massachusetts came in at #49. Only Colorado had fewer obese people than Massachusetts.
New York came in at #36.
