Save some garlic for the last, give the aloo methi palak a tadka of some degi mirch and chopped garlic in the end. The taste will quadruple. Keep more dishes coming! My mom cooks like you have shown, I like to cover cook the spinach and methi without any water for 10 minutes in a microwave and then quickly dump it in cold water to retain the colour.
Just made it now, and OMG it smells absolutely devine! Thank you so much, and keeping making more videos because you make it so easy for us to understand and cook perfectly. ☺👍
I can get Palak here in Birmingham I'm going to make this dish I've never had fresh Methi, but I can get this also. Thank you for posting your mum's recipe for us all to try, it's appreciated, thank you.
I have just come across your channel today and omg I cannot wait to try some of these yummy recipes. You really explain everything so well and I can tell your food is cooked with so much love! ❤
My Favourite veg Curry. I can’t wait to make this. I’ve never succeeded making this nice in the past, putting my faith in your mums method. Thanks so much for the tip about Palak vs bagged supermarket spinach. I didn’t know the difference and I suspect using the baby bagged spinach in the past impaired the result. Love all the butter 😁 Love Fenugreek, never used fresh. Thank you for uploading this exciting authentic recipe . BTW, your the only chef I’ve watched who has truly inspired me to buy a pressure cooker. Off to Amazon. 😃Xx

Hi Shamza
You are our favourite RUclips chef 👨🍳.
Very nice Palak methee 👍
That looks amazing, can you make this with sweet potato instead of white potato please?
I haven't tried it ever Susanne, so I am unable to comment. You may try it if you wish and let me know it goes too 😉 👍
Hello thanks for this Amazing dish!
Would you recommend mustard oil? Or what do you think is best?
Your mum most be the proudest mum ever!
Thank you so much.😊🙌 Mustard oil can be used but it is a strong flavoured oil, just bare that in mind hence why I did not use it.
Wonderful!! Do you have a recipe for saag paneer ?
Thank you and I've one coming very soon 😊
I was literally thinking about when you would post next
Lambi zindagi mashallah
I love palak but I always avoid making this because of how strenuous the process is but you made it so simple !!!!
First the lamb now this- amazing
The only strenuous thing about this dish is the cutting and washing of the Palak. The rest is easy 😌 thanks 😊
Do you have a saag recipe help
Made this today using my Ninja Foodie. It tastes great thank you.
Wonderful 👏
Hi Shamsa, just checking out your amazon page. Do you have the 4 litre pressure cooker or 6 litre?
Mine was the 4 litre, but get whatever suits your needs :)
Wow awesome thank you for the fast quick directions I will try today lol 😂 probably will
Mess it up not as good as you only
Problem is in my area there is no Asian shops so I will try with baby spinach thx again
I like u more than palak Sabji ummaaahhh
Did you add salted or unsalted butter?
Salted
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes ok, listed ingredients state “unsalted”, so was just checking
To be honest you can use either, doesn't really make any difference. I normally have salted to hand these days so I just use that.
If I want make it without pressure cooker, I do everything same but longer or do I need change some steps ?
Nothing changes, same process just takes a little longer. 👍
Could you use tinned spinache for this recipe
Yes absolutely
Hi u are Amazing absolute gem with ur cook video A+
Thank you 😊

Hi hun from the Asian shops, how many bunches of paalak would you say that is and how many bunches of methi?
Nazneen, im sorry but i cant remember at the top of my head, kindly watch the video as I have mentioned it in there.
Sister can I make this without the pressure cooker?
👍
How many people does this serve?
Sorry….Ps,
What is the spice called you always mention that adds flavour and colour but not heat. Can you tell me the brand you use also. Thanks x
Kashmiri chilli powder also know as Deghi Mirch.i usually use the East End brand but all brands are morealess yhe same.
Looks wonderful will try this but can I use frozen palak and frozen methi instead which you can buy from the freezer section of the Asian supermarkets or World Foods section at Tesco or Asda etc? If so, then do we still use the pressure cooker to make this? Thanks
You may if you wish but not necessarily.
