In my case, i started from the very first episode of going seventeen hehe. I started watching in the last quarter of 2022 😅
unpopular opinion but i feel like you should start from the 2024 ones bc it shows their personality as of now, then gradually watch ones from previous years
You'd love all GOING SEVENTEEN TTT episodes! It’s a fun, chill series where SEVENTEEN goes on trips, bonds, and drinks a lot 😂 (one per year from 2018-2024). My faves are TTT 2020 "Hyperrealism" and TTT 2021 "Water Sports"-nonstop laughs!
I suggest start at beginning bc they have so many inside jokes, if you watch recently episode, sometimes you can’t get what happening.
But, the best way is do what you want. There’s no rules about enjoying seventeen ❤
I think you can choose between one of the following ways to watch Gose:
1. Start at 2019 (not sure of the exact episode but it's early on). Before that it's more behind the scenes than variety content like now.
2. Mix it up. One old episode and as it comes out, the new episodes as well, to kind of meet in the middle when you get there.
3. Do it in series, where you take recommendations for which series to do next. Because some series have different episodes from different years but it's the same concept, eg "Don't Lie" is their mafia game series. Or you get the "Hortor series" which had 4 different concepts.
Also remember, most of it had two episodes. A few have 3. And very very few have just 1 episode.

In my opinion, starting with episode 1 will be a lot, that’s like less than 300 episodes… it can be overwhelming, but if you’re good with it then I think you can go ahead and do that.
Though if you’re fine with skipping episodes, I think you can start with the popular episodes/series. There will be inside jokes that you will miss, but then again that’s unavoidable when getting into a group variety-wise. Anddd start with less chaotic/complicated episodes. 😂
Diving into GoSe is a big step so it’s okay to take your time with it!
Ohh and if I may suggest a starting episode, I’d say Going Seventeen 2019 episode 6-7…
Going Seventeen 2020 is a good start but 2019 have some really good episode....
Going seventeen 2019 starts with the Behind-the-scene type content, in between they have some variety content
I would suggest to start with Going Seventeen 2019. That's where they Basically started really doing content and not really behind the scenes. And with that you can see their growth from 2019 to 2024 😊
I believe you should start from the beginning. These boys have too much inside jokes that you need to know how it started. 🤣
i started at 2019 because it was around the time the group had more of an influence into the content going seventeen puts out so its extra interesting to see! its also a good start to going seventeen slowly taking shape
In Seventeen always expect the unexpected because they are VERYYYY CHAOTIC and Unpredictable😂😂 also note that they are part time comedian (but sometimes it feels like they are part time idol and full time comedian)😬

I think i agree that starting the 2024 episodes would be nice since i think that for last year, they somehow did a bit of everything like TTT, insomnia zero, debate kind of theme. It would be like a good introduction of the other things they've done in previous years. Then after, you can start with the episodes where they composed and recorded the intro and outro themes (also filmed a mini MV 😂) in 2019 so you could appreciate these a bit more ☺️ then continue from there ☺️
for 2018, i personally just wacthed the very first TTT, for context since you know how they always tend to bring up past things 🤭😆

compilations are a great way to start on gose if youre intimidated!! thats how i got my start too. if you want there was a channel who did a series called "going seventeen 2020 is a mess" where they edited every gose 2020 episode, its a great way to experience all the episodes chronologically and not miss anything but in bite sized pieces

I would suggest you start from 1st epi 2019..the new format will start on episode 3..and you can alternate it with more recent 2024/2025 (if available) Going Seventeen because the recent one are more high quality contents so you can’t miss it
the previous GoSe (before 2019) are more like Inside Seventeen now...except a few 2018 epi

It's up to you, but the best transition imo is from 2019. They started the year with behind the scenes vids, much like inside seventeen before becoming variety oriented. So it'll be easier for you to ease into it. Ofc you can go the other way around, but you might not understand some inside jokes that started in early eps, which seventeen often brings up over the years

My favourite eps would probably be Let's Go Seventeen, Debate Nights, Runner-up Sports day (maybe cause I'm a Jun biased but it's still fun), Mouse Busters, SVT Playground, Going Rangers and Going vs Seventeen (where they compete against GoSe staff). Maybe you could check on them out. Another fair way, spin a wheel of the suggestions in the comments, watch whichever it lands on.
Maybe you can do it in series.. They have so many series for GOSE.. Dont lie, TTT, Horror,Seungkwan special, Bad clue.. or maybe you choose from the iconic episodes.. There are so many too.. Anyways, can't wait for your GOSE reaction..

It's okay not to watch it in chronological order but most of the Going Seventeen episodes got inside jokes that you will only know if you've watched the older ones. Tho it's also fine to not know the inside jokes, you will find yourself rewatching the episodes anyways HAHAHA.
If I were to suggest, you can start-off with TTT, it's literally the most chill GoSe episodes as they were just being their usual selves playing drinking games. Going Series is also a must!!! It's an original series by the GoSe team and it's top tier. Best Friends, Don't Lie, and Insomnia Zero are also some of their popular ones and you'll get why it's popular once you watched them :)
