Hopefully you do make some videos on raising baby clownfish in the future! Excited to see whats to come for this tank :)
As someone that wants to raise some baby clowns - I'd also love this content!
Great tips, as ever, a very useful post!
@prestige reef, I have the same attention span, I use a phone timer to go off 5 seconds before the Hanna timer. No more wasting reagents!
One thing people should know . If you have high silicate in your water . Your Hanna checker will read very high. I always compare my Hanna to my Red Sea p04 test.
I seen countless times people think their phos is high and drop it and then get full blown Dino’s.
My nitrate/phosphate as of my last ICP where through the roof...like way beyond what anyone wants. 137.08 and 3.601 respectively! I've been working on bringing those way down and I also ordered new test kits because mine where just clearly expired or something because the levels that were reported back were just wildly off of the Red Sea kits I was using.
Not that any of that matters when I have an aluminum level of 753 in my tank. I've been working on fixing that and think I have that fixed. I'll find out in a few days when I get my next ICP results back!
Hold on what did you just say about a hanna conversion chart? Isn't the phosphate number on the display, the actual phosphate reading to be documented? Im confused potentially
He's looking at a phosphorus checker. To get phosphate you need to convert it
Hanna ulr phosphorus is supposed to be more accurate than ulr phosphate? BTW, I'm glad to see that you own a comb! 😄
So this is 12 day's worth of videos but how many actual days did it take to get to this stage?
I was 10 days ahead of everyone else when I started so at most 22 days
@@PrestigeReef understood. I was wondering about the timescales for ridding the dinoflagellates and cyanobacteria.
I think the 3 minutes is to get the bubbles out 🤔
No, the powder needs time to dissolve and do it's magic (change color).
