Just about to get a new battery for my key fob, although ive already replaced it about 2 years ago. Ive just tried the exact same thing as here on this video...and it works!!!!!!! cool, thanks for the advice.
I'm having this issue but I don't see the light at all? I hear something moving but the door doesn't lock or unlock, I have to do it manually. Any ideas?
@@potandaparton5487 I believe it's the micro switch, I have them haven't gotten to changing it out. Been busy with the pcv system and shift bushing and all that.
@@1HiGhGrAdEbUd I haven't attapemted doing anything yet i know my battery is completely dead. I was told that there is a section in the center console which I need to open and pull the boot cable from there
@@BMWRestored okay mate , I'm having issues with my roof top not locking into place, maybe the motor is fried? Just bought a TTrs , but I can only open my door my peeling the roof to open from inside... if you could help mate , I can send you payment 😅
@@1HiGhGrAdEbUd I just had the same problem. Locks in the doors were broken. Ended up drilling a hole into the hood latch mechanism and pulling the lever with a screwdriver. Turns out my key was unpaired as well. Ended up drilling out the passenger side lock.
I just posted mine works..but..it doesnt open the boot. So I replaced the battery..no good..its not the battery. The doors will open and close only if you are right next to the door. If you move a little bit away it doesn't work. Also it wont open the boot at all. I think the problem is with the circuit board within the key. Another quality German product ( not).
Did not work for me I have an Audi TT 2004. All I had to do was put my key in the door unlock and look once and while your key is still in the door press the buttons!
Thanks you saved me a lot of heartache after I changed both key fobs with new batteries after buying a Mk1 TT 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

At least you get a light, I've been opening mine for a good 8-9 months now! :(
Cheers for the vid. It’s happened on my mk1s3 I’ll try this in the morning

Didn’t work for me. Can you make a video, but this time don’t edit it so we can see the whole thing through?
Works on audi a4 b7 as well. Tnx bro.
This worked perfectly. Thank you.
I'm not even getting any luck opening the door with the key manually, any advice...battery is completely.
