Hi Anjali In South karnataka (Mangalore) we make dosa out of this daal 1 measure of maa ki daal n 4 measures of dosa rice .soak for 4 hrs n grind coarse n ferment it overnight Roast dosa on both sides Given the recipe if u want to try U can try in summer In winter for kinnaur weather it will not ferment

Here in U.P. we put this pakoda in hot water which have ginger and hing in it and after some time when it becomes soft we put these soften pakoda (here in u.p. we call chandia) in chaach made from velona method . This too taste delicious . These are made usually during holi time
