I completely forgot I visited Momartre in 1969 when I was 15. On a Spanish class trip we spent 6 weeks mainly in Spain but some time in France and London. We were instructed to bring only $200 in traveler checques. Our lodging and meals were included but we had to buy our drinks and souvenirs. $200 for 6 weeks didn't allow for much. My parents and my sister occasionally sent $10. The cost for six weeks was $800. What a bargain. I did bring a guitar back from Spain for about $30 for my sister.. As teenage girls we were supposed to dress conservatively which neant knee length skirts and dresses. We stayed in Versailles when in France and took a train into Paris. I could only afford Chanel #5 in talcom powder. Of course we spent Francs. What memories.
I thought we might see your older son at least for dinners in Paris. Everything at the markets is definitely trash or treasure. But those stalls at the start were so beautiful! ❤❤❤
Ah Paris! Love that city. Some amazing handmade arts. Lol I love that your mom is still directing the shots. Momma Conlin is still the boss. The construction of the glass work looks impeccable. What your mom finds interesting and the ones you pick out crack me up with the differences. 😂
It must have been difficult to see so many wonderful things and not be able to bring them home. This was a wonderful video. I like that you include food and sights.
Thank you, all 3 of you ...the viedo was spectacular! Felt just like we were there and living thru the 3 of you vicariously on the trip😊 Aurevoir!..hey my 3 years of French classes paid off🤣🤣🤣
