Turbo glazing incoming but this was some good shit, really warms the heart seeing some unexplored MUs. Don’t play much Adept GL but I had no idea it was able to do GPs back to back, learned something from this haha. Positioning was on point too, a lot of the beauty of GL runs for me is seeing you madmen nail punishes with the forward+X stab (I forget what it’s called lol). BANGER Frontier track too.
@@S.R.B.G. Thank you very much! The lunge attack on GL? It's probably my favorite attack of the weapon after the slap introduced in World. The lunge attack was also so incredibly good and useful in World, covered so much distance so fast, but they nerfed it to the ground in Rise....
@@dynamo_lynnThat lunge was a major part of gunlances identity back on the psp. That, along with a couple of little combos it could pull off, made it a lot more versatile than the standard lance even without the shells. I love me some boomstick.
If you compare it to 4U gunlance its a bit stronger on paper if you manage heat and use adept. Like yea overall GL got nerfed a bit, but being on red gauge makes you stronger than before, albeit only very slightly, and adept GL has good motion values on follow ups, for those its like nerfs never happened... The issues for GL is not that its weaker, because it's not if used correctly, just that some monsters are really fast and aggressive in GU, this is what brings down the times I would assume, also GL always was kinda on the lower end, or other weapons got buffed and GL mostly stayed the same numbers wise.
This was an awesome run I have been itching to use Gunlance but I'm still need to upgrade more stuff. The head piece on your huntress looks beautiful too. 😊
