my cat will fight tooth and nail to prevent ear drops and it's so annoying, especially when she doesn't understand I'm trying to help her. sigh
I know this might sound strange, but I always talk to my cat and tell him exactly what I am getting ready to do and why. He understands everything I am saying to him and he lets me do whatever it is I need to do for him. He understands that I am trying to help him. Then I pet him and then tell him good boy and he gets his snack of Temptations cat treats.
My cat suddenly develops the strength of a bull when we try to put ear drops in his ear! It’s so frustrating as he needs the medication.

I gave my kitty his first ear treatment yesterday. We did a purrito to keep him still. Didn't help as he shook his head violently before we were done and then peed on me through the purrito towel. I have 9 more days of this in a row then once a week...FML.
It looks so easy. 😂 But i tried this and my 3 cats dont cooperate

Fun fact: Cats only use their meows to talk to humans, not each other. The only time they meow to communicate with other felines is when they are kittens to signal to their mother.
So try to meow back to them sometimes
