When you crumb anything, use one hand for the eggwash and the other for the flour and breadcrumbs. then you don't have a mess on your hands and messy crumbs. Just a thought.
Loving the content bud 👍 just purchased another of your Vimeo vids to watch tonight. Keep up the good work 🤙

Nice vid”!”)
Another epic vid, cheers bro!
How come you take snapper over kings? You reckon snapper is better eating?
Are those ziplock bags re-useable? I use the type that come in a roll and you seal them with a machine, but they make heaps of plastic rubbish
Hey mate I will shoot kings for smoking and sashimi but snapper for most of the generic meals. It's far more forgiving in the fridge, have had it sweet for 5-6 days uncovered and even after fresh water wash staying mint. Kingfish weeps and no matter how much you paper towel it or dry it after several days it has a strong pelagic taste and also the cooked meat has a real fishy flavor in meals that are re heated on a second night. It's just my preference after basically converting to a daily fish diet. Kingfish have their place in my diet but generally are more of a scenic fish as if I kept shooting them over and over again the freezer would fill up so quickly I wouldn't even need to spear anymore lol. Yes the zip vac packs do a few uses, as opposed to the seal and throw away ones.
Shot bro 🤙🏽
Loved to cooking dude. Coconut oil! Who knew!
Lance Holland didn’t know if people would be into it or not haha
I usually see fish fillets in many videos, take out the clean loins without skin, and I don't see the use of the head and fins, which are generally my favorite part to eat, don't you take advantage of them or do you make any soup or broth with them? , I like the funds of NZ to fish, they are too far away and I too lazy for such a trip, but they are very interesting waters to enjoy them, greetings from Fuerteventura-Spain
pejepeine Fuerteventura I either give them to my mate who smokes them up or if he is not available I feed them to stingrays, snapper and kingfish at a local marina to put back into the ocean food chain.
Loving the vlogs bro!!!
Svenjamin Franklin cheers mate
Yummo
Hey bro have you still got a shop where we can buy merchandise?
nice vid
excellent video bro! would be great if you could mention all spots that you have been or you used to go.
Cheers! ps; just subscribed and am leaving my like on your videos.
Gustavo Macedo cheers mate, I can’t leave spot names anymore because of how many divers I am bumping into these days and also line fisherman can get in so close to Auckland and affect stocks easily.
@@AquaticRehabSpearfishing makes sense. Thanks for your response so quickly.
Hope to see more content soon.
Just keep it up on high quality - you r doing really good.
Great vid Luke. Would u take up an offer to guide a Spearfishing trip??
Debbie Amper I do guide a bit as long as vessel is provided
Mean as bro.
Whereabouts is this?
Launch from army bay aye, whereabouts would you recommend for a amateur diver around there?
Stephen Nilsson NE army bay, ti point, mathersons bay Leigh.
I thought a high diet of open ocean fish is high in mercury content? Especially among fish that consume each other as main diet. Also I thought that all the fish eat the others anyway so it just goes up the line to the biggest predators.
You are right about open ocean fish and big predators. Snapper being a non oceanic reef fish and also far from being among the bigger predators still has levels of heavy metals but it is not one of the concern species here. Without that in my diet the dish would've been just broccoli rice and mushroom because i'm not buying meat I haven't killed myself at this point.
Hey man, how deep were those dives at the local?
Cheers lad
Jarod Beck dunno man, a lot further sideways than down
15:58 whats that japanese sause on the right?
kiewpie roasted sesame - I have it with some sashimi in vlog 1 if ya want more details on it!
Do you prefer those predators over your carbon fibre fins?
*penetrators
raging rabbit yeah by far
Aquatic Rehab Spearfishing interesting
Aquatic Rehab Spearfishing what stiffness are they ?
raging rabbit soft
Get a rice cooker man. So much easier :')
Never wash fillets in fresh water
Danny Dyson that’s why I froze them dirty and why I explained washing with fresh water adds bacteria to the fillet 15:01 - if you’re worried about the fresh water bacteria 5 min before cooking then don’t.
Bro you need to smile a little more
Yep I force it hard enough just to speak to the camera. Depression is shit.
