Years spent visiting this part of missouri and I’m positive that people don’t realize what an awesome part of the River this is. Make it to Louisiana missouri and do some shots there. Just use a belt driven riding mower transmission and run a very big pulley on the engine and a very small pulley on the transmission . You'll get the speed you want along with a few extra forward gear ratios and a REVERSE .

where did you get the reverse gearbox ? thanks I am thinking of usung and outboard motor gearbox for a similar project
