Great story. Basing this after Sky 3rd (And possibly Zero) really shows how much Josette has matured. Your writing was again top notch here too. Really captured the Capua family dynamic. I thought using "Continuation of Dream" was an unexpected and interesting pick, however it did suit the scene quite well.
Thanks for watching! After Josette and Kloe talked about hanging out again in the 3rd, this felt like a great opportunity to expand on their dynamic. It was also a chance for a natural continuation of their Sun Door 1, so I was able to showcase some character development for all the Capuas. This is one of my favorite projects that I've had the pleasure of working on!
I enjoyed Josette's characterisation here for the same reasons that Oguzhan Gungor mentioned. Kloe is as sweet as ever, too. The friendship between her and Josette was a bit of a surprise to see in Sky the 3rd, but a welcome one nonetheless.
Yeah, it was an unexpected dynamic, but it was refreshing to see Josette develop bonds with some of the Sky cast, considering that she didn't have the chance to interact with most of them until the 3rd. It definitely is a relationship that could be explored further!
Wholesome as all hell, I love it. It also shows Josette's character development in phantasma, after having to go through fighting her brothers, she is a bit calmer with her reactions. Pre-phantasma Josette would have, probably, lashed at them again.
Glad that you liked it! When we were planning the script for this story, it was tempting to have Josette react in a similar manner to how she acted in Sun Door 1, since that's the canon behavior she has. With that being said, it felt like it would be more meaningful for her to try to control her temper. It also gives Don and Kyle a chance for a more meaningful resolution that they don't really get in Sun Door 1. We're really happy with how this turned out! (Also, Josette deserves a chance to get along with her brothers!)
@@shinkisekimodding Exactly. Personally, I can see this being a bonus door on a NG+ run since it takes place after the events of Phantasma. Great work once again though, props to everyone who worked on this. It felt very trails in the sky.
