The main street of the city is via Etnea - the road that crosses Catania from north to south. There are plenty of shops with top brands, as well as cafes and restaurants. If you don't know where this street is - don't worry, you will definitely find it.

Na stronie tripmydream znalazłem info: The cost of a ticket for Catania's public transportation is 1 EUR for buses and 0.8 EUR for the metro. You can purchase a day pass for 2.5 EUR. Tickets are sold at newsstands, bus stops, and underground crossings.
Wygląda na to, że jest jednodniowy bilet za 2,50 euro i można go kupić na przystankach i w kioskach. Jednak jak sobie przypomnę ten bałagan i że z wielkim bólem udało się kupić zwykły bilet jednorazowy to nie wiem co o tym sądzić.

Gdzie kupuje się bilety autobusowe?
W kioskach, które są w pobliżu przystanków. Na Borsellino są też automaty, ale jak byliśmy to akurat nie działała płatność kartą.
