Remember UNC won the 1994 ACC Tournament (in Charlotte) and didn't cut the nets down because they wanted to come back and do it after winning the national championship (the Final Four was also in Charlotte)...
This is straight bizarre that back in 1994, the NCAA actually used the court of the host school, whether or not it played there. In this game, we have the oddity of George Mason, which never played a home game at USAir Arena, having its court featuring the state of Virginia, despite this arena being located in Maryland.
At the time, whoever the host school was (George Mason in this case) was required to provide the court. I actually preferred it to nowadays where all the courts in every arena are exactly the same everywhere.

Best BC game I ever experienced!

@@walterlv01 I also miss the days of the home courts being used. They used to just have the NCAA logo in the small center circle.
I'm still mad over losing this game
Word
RIP Eric Montrose and Dean Smith 🙏
Do you have a video of Kentucky vs Iowa State in the 1992 NCAA Tournament?
No, I don't at this time....Sorry
Noo
Uh, UNC was the defending national champions, not the eventual champions. You can tell, because - SPOILER - they lose this game.
+Revisited1 Thanks for pointing that out. I just corrected it.
I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. Any Bill Curley dunks in this game?
Howard Eisley: The German Man.
