Oh yeah.... I don't like the new sai's. I do like that you get new accessories with the Turtles. Only if Neca would release Shredder in the ultimates line.
I wasnt thrilled about raphaels mouth expression, so I made great use of that extra head that came with Leo. Now Raph isnt "catching flies" and has a much more stern looking expression

I was originally torn on getting these cuz I already have the TiD set. I picked up Donnie last night and I really do prefer the dark matte finish over the glossy light green TiD. I’m planning on finishing the new bros and maybe selling the TiD bros. Call it an upgrade. Also nice that all the head pieces and hands from the punk turtles and Samurai Mike/Space Don head pieces all work great with em. You end up with more than 2 complete sets of hands for your bros. Did notice that only the Pizza Club bros have the cell shaded bandanas though. 🤷♂️
Yeah, the new paint looks sooooo good. Now I have to try to find them all...I think your camera may have an awesome filter on it? These look amazing in your videos. 🤔
All these guys should have come with a set of alternate heads, the punk turtle alt expressions help, but i wish the hair was removable. I think the Turtles in Disguise set is superior.
My TIDs are the matte versions, but they all have the injection port circles on their biceps. I’m happy I decided to get the Pizza Club variants; the colors are nice and I find the contrast of the front shell with the skin tones appealing. I’m hoping to get around to photographing them soon.

My favorite is still style guide, the colors pop on the shelf more. But I think I like the colors on my TID set more than the new ones even with the gloss. Only have mikey so far, and will still get the others so I can have multiple scenes of them on my shelf, but the cell shading seems more drastic/noticeable in a not great way on the new ones. Maybe it’s just me. I still like all the variations for different reasons though so no complaints from me I’ll keep throwing my money at Neca.

I would run out to try and find a Raph, but the default yelling head is disappointing. With as expensive as these figures are I wish they would’ve included a serious head without an open mouth. The turtles in disguise with swappable heads was great.
I never got the original animated series turtles or the turtles in disguise. I got the haul a thon ones that were a light green and these turtles. I'm disappointed that the pizza club turtles don't come with extra expressions. But I'm happy I got them in there original color.
If you get all 4 then you have a good range of expressions and if you have any plans of getting other sets (like the Space and Samurai or Punk) then you’ll have loads more that are new designs.

I guess that NECA is considering that all the fans will buy the 4 turtles and will then be able to switch the heads between the turtles as you metnionned. Wich could be legit because i don't think that many will buy just one turtle, we usually go for the four of them, or none.
I can't wait for you to make the custom stuff for these. im going to start my hunt (as you know), and if you make the customs, i will HAVE to get them.
I think we are into overkill mode......I believe this is the beginning of the end. I absolutely love the turtles, but we are getting into changes that aren't even changes. Our drawers all full of accessories, we don't even know what goes to what anymore. I love your videos and will continue to watch every single one...but I'm all bought out of the commercialization of our nostalgic minds...they have taken full blown advantage of us lol
I feel like they still haven't nailed Raph's sai. The original ones are okay, but huge relative to the show. These new ones are probably more screen-accurate in that they just look kind of terrible. I think my favorite they've done are the sai that came with the Turtles in Time Raph. I would have much preferred to see those given a new paint job and included here, though I don't know if that would have pushed me to buy it.
Anyone else have Ralph's snout not aligned smoothly with the rest of his head? It's driving me crazy how bad it looks. He has a jagged bit visible on his face, AND making weird shading when under lighting

Standard turtles All have the cell shading on the bandana but I hate it. Haha

That was the best value for turtles they ever had. If you’re buying all the new items then it works out, but sucks when you only want one
