Animals showing off their babies is the most precious thing ever.
That was a wild interaction. The baby hiding behind the mom but trusting her instincts. Then when they get close enough the mom turns around to tell the baby its ok to meet her and the baby steps in front! Unbelievable how smart they are.
Cows are often just viewed as farm animals, but they're actually kind of smart. They aren't the Einsteins of the animal world, but they aren't dumb. It's easy to assume they are because of how stationary they usually are, but they have dog-like aspects. They'll play fetch, I've seen them do it with exercise balls😂

This is why 10 years ago at 14 I became vegan. My parents thought it was a phase but I watched a animal documentary that changed me. I couldn’t eat a being that is so full of love, innocence, & emotion. Cow, Chicken, Pig, Dog, Cat, hamster-ALL deserve life.🙌🏽❤️

A calf is hard to beat on the cuteness scale. They have the biggest eyes with the longest lashes. Everytime we have one show up at feeding time or when I'm out by the fence line you will always, always hear an "awe aren't you the cutest little thing I ever did see". I can't help it, it just happens.

Until recently, I never knew how friendly and affectionate cows could be. They are loving and protective mothers.
A mother cow’s instinct is to have their baby and hide it in the tall grass or bushes. It’s a very strong instinct. So it is a testament to this cow’s care and love she receives that she is so willing to bring her baby over to this woman. Much love ❤️❤️❤️

The reason why the dairy industry is AT LEAST as cruel if not even more cruel than the animal testing industry, so firstly for a cow to give milk she has to be pregnant, for that to happen a human will shove their arm into a cows anus and inject her vagina with bull semen, so they forcibly impregnate her and they do that on an apparatus that is commonly known as a rape rack.
Then after a 9-month pregnancy like a human she gives birth. They separate the mothers from her babies almost straight away because they don't want the babies drinking her milk, the milk that's made for them. The baby boys who don't produce milk they're seen as a waste product and they are sent to the slaughterhouse, at the slaughterhouse they will be shot in the head with a bolt gun that pierces through their skull into their brain and then they get their throat slit.
The baby girls have the same fate as their mother, they are forcibly impregnated as soon as they are old enough, they're hooked up to painful milking machines every day, this process is repeated over and over for 5-7 years and then they're so severely used and abused basically that they are also sent to the same slaughterhouse as their babies, and in nature they could live to 25-30 years old.
