They're not changing how the game performs, they're taking advantage of how loosely the word parser is written: it looks for certain letters in a certain order, and ignores any extra letters and spaces, and also has a list of synonyms and common typos that it also accepts. "Baby sea bass lip flayer" matches "baseball player" not because they're cheating, but because the game sees "bal player" in there: "BAby sea bass LiP fLAYER". "Franklin D. Roosevelt" matches "children" because the game sees "kids" in "franKlIn D. rooSevelt". "Ogres allowed sparingly" matches "keep off the grass" because the game sees "gras" in "oGRes Allowed Sparingly". "No stealing pornography" matches "stop" beacuse it sees "stpo" in "no STealing POrnography". And so on. You can give the same answers to the same questions on a real unaltered cart and they'd be accepted the same way, it'd just take you longer to type them in.
