DS RS having tried both 90s Claire accessories makeup and some items from this collection, I can assure you there are some nice make up pieces here. The skin tint, cheek and lip tint, and the eye jellies (when used correctly) are quite good. The glosses have no pigment despite the supposed shades, and the face gloss is gimmicky- those two I would not recommend. The eye jelly called confetti is the most problematic from what I’ve seen online, I have three of them which worked well for me; starry sky, bright idea, sunshine. The mousses work easier as cheek tints, but as lip tints they give me the blotted ombré korean beauty vibes, but you need to work with it more

Really the eye shimmer is really good for me
For the jelly eyeshadow I have them myself and I think either you just had a bad shade (maybe it had gone off etc), either you were allergic to it or it most likely was because you had concealer underneath which caused it to be clumpy, I personally don't put down concealer or any type of eyeshadow base underneath and it applies beautifully. I hope this helps you soph and for anyone else who is interested in buying the collection xxx

Tea tree oil and moisturising cream (because the tea tree oil is drying). The tea tree oil will stop your spots in their tracks and allow them to heal without getting larger first. So, if you're able to use tea tree oil (so not allergic and don't have dry skin), I would recommend it.
omg that's how my acne started. i popped a blackhead and it turned into my first ever pimple. and then, it just grew. 3 years later, it's mainly scars now but huge ass scars :( recommend me smth pls to fix the scars :( i miss my clear skin

@@sophdoeslife I think the eyeshadow is supposed to be applied in a very thin layer, so sparkling but just slightly pigmented like you did in the first place... I think you expected it to look more intense than it was supposed it to, so you just applied too much product

Those skin tints have a lot of coverage. They don't have enough shades.
edit: I know they are supposed to just add a tint to your skin. But they just add a lot of said tint.... If I'm making sense.😂

@@hsnkids. I think the point she was making is because it's a skin tint but because the coverage seems to be beyond that of a normal skin tint (seems to have more coverage than a skin tint usually has), there should be more shades.
if you used less it probably would have less coverage.
Lisa Zhong true but also not true. If you use any light coverage foundation/tints, even if u use alot , it won’t really get thicker and get alot more coverage. It would just get cakey. Maybe just a bit more coverage. But this just doesn’t seem like a skin tint formula

Many teens have difficult problematic skin I dont think this skin tint would be great for. it looks SO oily... girl that "glow" just looks like sweat 😬. I think they went overboard. the eye shimmers don't look like a great formula. I'll be skipping this one 🤦🏼♀️

The jellies remind me of gel eyeshadow packs I used to buy from Claire's when I was 12. They would always end up in my crease after wearing them for an hour. I would love to know if these end up doing the same thing!

evie whitmarsh it’s not meant for anyone over 13, it’s more for kids and tweens, so it fits perfect for their target market. most of charli and dixies audiences are girls under 12 so it makes sense.

The darkest shade isn’t very deep :(
It’s a tint that’s why
No one can ever win. Their darkest shade is a whole lot darker then almost every other brand. It’s a skin tint so they aren’t supposed to have 60+ shades. They can come out with 60+ shades because it’ll be a waste if money if the feed back isn’t good! Stop complaining

I don’t know anything about the girls in the Morphe 2 campaign but I personally like the collection (except for the lip oils, I do think it needs more pigment). It’s definitely a cheaper version of Glossier but with more coverage and/or colour payoff which is a plus

it’s way cheaper then glossier, so it’s perfect for their target audience. it isn’t met for teens or adults, it’s mostly for kids or tweens. i don’t think it’s really for anyone over 13 or 14

This is the second review I’ve seen where the eye jelly is lumpy. Seems like a pretty bad product.
Thraelen eye jellies worked well when used with a packing brush, used them myself this way and there was no clumping. With fingers, it is clumpy
