Semi drivers should be PAID to park during storm events. It would save those shipping, trucking companies, insurance companies, municipalities (police, medical & fire) and ultimately, consumers' money. Likely lives would be saved as well. Think about it. Loss during these events is massive!
I was at the Village of Castorland Water company in the last two years--maybe a year ago, for my job with NYS. I can guarantee that they have enough reservoir capacity for the snowmelt.

This reminds me of lake effect snow in Buffalo back in 2014, I wasn't there but the scenes on TV were deranged. Except this time Buffalo is not seeing that much snow as in 2014, but I imagine the surrounding areas as it says in the video.
the major news stations always focus on the lake Erie belt, you NEVER ever hear about the other snow belts from any large media. and its been like this for as long as i can remember

It's winter in the north east people. No blizzard. No houses buried. The roads are open. Is the news so slow since the election that you have to beat this dead horse over and over. I plowed my driveway once and then did clean up with an ATV once. This is just normal winter here in the snowbelt south of Buffalo. And it is over due.
Erie still under state emergency with Guard here 12 them helping dig out. but that's failure on the leadership here that refused help days before this snow came. Yeah, they were ready, my butt

Is -anyone- in news tracking those airplanes spraying all over the world and then also measuring the weather at leaves behind? Is anyone tracking them? Or nasas planes together with this weather? Moded are being used usually. Sprays, arasol. Bleach etc in the air.

Even if it stops snowing it's so cold the snow won't melt very fast.
