Wow, I just got schooled by your video on what locksmiths need day to day to do the job. Man, I was clueless how complicated your job is... keep on trucking.
JT Plumbing thanks! As with any trade there are gonna be more often used tools but there are always those oddball jobs that require just the right tool as you probably know :) have a good one, thanks for watching!
Hi Jason. I'm surprised just at the quantity and multiples of tools. There's a lot more than I thought there would be. The amount of tools for specific locks, No wonder it can take a few years to stock up your van. Thanks for sharing this information.
I'm_Gumby not by a long shot 😂 the locksport view has 44 and there’s one out there that has almost as many dislikes than likes, can’t remember which one but it has a fair amount of views lol
Tommy A. Even the small Veto loaded up is kind of a pain. Months later now it serves as a good stationary toolbox & rarely gets carried in. Love having it but it just doesn't get actively used like I hoped it would! Thanks for watching, have a great Independence Day :)
Theromanempire2010 we do access control so aside from its wiring use, about the only time it’s needed in the lock world is on Detex alarm units when there is an issue with the wiring. However always keep electrical tape, duct tape, and painters tape. As far as toolbox or bag, always invest your money in the actual tools before you spring on fancy bags for them :) a simple $8 toolbox will suffice until you start bringing in profit
you have got A lot the same and you don't have the really good tools and any electric pick gun and any bump keys and many decoder so you are just go for open the door with force mate spend more money so that time you respect you customer and you do the job perfashnal.
An electric pick gun is a gimmick for those who don't know how to pick locks. Bump keys, (while I do have them but not shown in this video) are hardly "professional" tools. I don't have "really good tools"? That's laughable. Lastly, you say I just go for force to open doors, which you are presuming from a video sorting hand tools. You do realize "picking locks" is at the bottom of the totem pole for a working locksmith right?
I love tools!!!I suppose I am getting into the right career...

very nice, I need to find something better for my voice/data tools - I love the Veto bags but can't justify the cost lol
If it makes the job easier and in turn faster it's worth the money.
What do you need electrical tape for, and what's the best bag for a beginner starting out doing locksmithing
