Live is fun but they need to make things better if they make Live 21, for example, your playmaker needs to be able to shoot, while your wing scorer needs to be able to defend a little better and give you more traits for your player and give you an actual story based on the player you choose for the entire career it would be amazing.
But all your packages go towards every single player you make if its for one position, i can literally have a backcourt shooter with kyrie irving handles and derrick rose type dunks. I just gotta unlock it on the other build

I don't know why, but I got a feeling that NBA Live 21 on PS5 will be the best basketball game for that year. It will be a turning point because EA chase money like hell, so if they make a great game for the next console, they instantly make a case for themselves for the next years. 2K did it with PS4 when it came out. Live didn't give a shit and it turned out costing them the entire PS4 years and stoped EA from even trying to make a game. I hope 2K gets fucked because it is very clear by now that they dont put any effort on their games. When EA stopped and 2K got the upper hand, every time they released a game, it would came out like a demo, huge gameplay problems, stupid animations, laughable transactions and shit online experience as a whole. EA need to step up, and its the first time I'm rooting for them

Live was fun I stopped playing cause the trend was 2k, but just being able to play basketball on more than one court is good, and I like the camera view after scoring. Those little things make it better
Pains me to say it but Live has a lot better physics than 2K20. Mike Wang was the worst thing to happen to 2k. Not a fan of all the cutaway celebration stuff in live though.

Also it’s like hating on live became the cool thing to do and a lot of those who are followers followed the trend. You can’t come to live 19 and expect to play it the exact same way you play 2k. It’s basketball, but it’s still a different game. If people would accept that and take the time to learn the game and give it a fair chance they would realize the game is actually pretty fun.

I was so hype for live 19 that ignore ordered it. I was expecting it to be way better than Live 18. But surprisingly live 18 was more fun because live 18 took two years off to make it. Plus 2k19 demolished live 19 yet live 18 was more fun than 2k18.

Bro I subbed just for your reactions so hilarious! But real talk I have live 18 and 19 on PS4 and just recently got an xbox one x that came with 2K20 and I think live 19 is better than 2K20. The grind in 2k is just atrocious. They force you to buy VC it's so bad. Like you said, you can just pick up live and start playing and have fun. And you progress faster WITHOUT microtransactions! I'm not even through the pro am league with my center in 19 and I'm already an 86 OVR. That probably took about a a couple of weeks of light gaming. I been grinding 2k for like 3 weeks and my SF is 83 OVR. The badge system in 2K is retarded too. You can have a 95 three point and brick everything if you don't have any badges it makes no sense. Great video tho that was fun to watch you should do more like this 👍
you actually control your player in live. you don't press combos and wait for the game to do its animations like on 2k. 2k will get you locked into dribbling animations and wont respond when you try to do something else.. you have to wait for it to finish. On live its like actual real life the way you dribble is just so much more smooth... in other words 2k is overhyped trash that doesnt play like a fluid basketball game.

I’m NBA Live all day and here’s why. If you’re still playing Live 19, they are constantly updating the game. This past week I’m seeing and feeling the difference when playing online head to head. More player control. Better response time. AI is better. Cut scenes. Fade-aways. Post movement. They’ve cut down on easy 3 point shots. Cut down easy steals. I’m beating high ranked people who would normally cheese all days with easy 3’s and spamming the steal button. I pray they drop Live 21. That will be the deciding factor if go from PS4 to PS5. I just can’t play 2K. It’s too blocky with the movement. Force field seems fake. If a player is near you you’re missing a shot. And the graphics are wack. All that money 2K makes and their home screen is trash. Players look stiff. Live flows. Stop trying to take down 2K and just add onto what they currently have now with Live 19. Make Court Battles online (with up 10 players) or 1 vs 10. Copy the same settings with 5 vs 5 (captain of a team, team jerseys after your team completes certain tasks, timeouts). ONLINE FRANCHISE is needed please!!! I would love to play in a franchise online against some of these users. Same settings as 2K. Commissioner & co commissioner options. Invite friends to your court to practice and play 1 vs 1 - 5 vs 5. Oh, allow us to change view settings when playing. I love the baseline view but wish I could up the height just a little. We don’t care about all of this movie stuff with my player. Just keep it simple and play to earn. That should be the concept. Play to earn. I hate in 2K you can pay to get coins for your player. What’s the purpose of playing. The game will come out and players are already beasts. They didn’t earn that smh. Be able to take your court battles team including your my player and play online head to head. That’s be dope. Oh all star game online 5 vs 5 is needed. Keep doing the daily challenges to earn things. I like that only for certain periods of time if you complete challenges you’ll earn certain jerseys and sneakers and etc. If you miss that challenge you can’t get those certain sneakers or jerseys. Try to come with more HOF players. I know it’s tough to get MJ but try. If not please put Kobe on the cover if you can. If not please have a Kobe challenge. Something like what 2K did. Recreate certain Kobe/Laker moments and complete challenges. I believe if they can do these things Live can really swing the pendulum

I hate to say it but I might have to switch to live this year. I stopped playing 2k months ago because the game is soooo trash now. I have a 95 3 with gold and hof shooting badges and I miss wide open full bar shots. You can’t make shit unless u green it but then I have pure glass cleaners with a 40 3 splashing in my mouth. Then I run out of stamina when I do 2 dribble moves with my 6’3 point guard. Or when I play with my 7’0 pure post with hof finishing badges it seems like I can’t make layups over another big man or lockdown whos not even guarding me. I can go on and on but long story short is that this game is trash. 2k18 and everything before that was perfect in my eyes so now I’m seriously considering moving to nba live
I like Live better. If they fix offline franchise and add classic teams, it would be a much better game.
