I said it once and I'll say it again: The conversations in this game are so deep, the characters so believable. It adds so much more realness to the game... you know apart from the water tight universe and thrilling story arcs.
One of the few games in existence that I wish I could experience for the first time again. The plot spanning suspense, intrigue, high fantasy and high cyberpunk. I found TLJ universe to be one that pays plenty of respects to its genre predecessors in a unique and refreshing way.
I love TLJ and Dreamfall but I hate what they did to Charlie here. I mean in The Longest Journey he was the one who showed his full support to April, never even doubting her and Emma, while she supported April, was the one who tried to question her statements and I don't really know why this choice was made.
I haven't played "The Longest Journey" or "Dreamfall: The Longest Journey" in sooooo....Long! Thank You, for doing this! I need to review both previous games before playing ,Dreamfall: Chapters
Thanks for making this! Dreamfall is my favorite game of all time. I started watching from your TLJ video for the nostalgia, now I can't stop! Time to move to your Dreamfall Chapters videos :)
Thanks for doing these! I played both games a long time ago but I'm only just getting around to Dreamfall Chapters. I wanted to reconnect with the characters and story before starting and you've made it possible in a simple way. Genuinely enjoyed having The Longest Journey on in the background while I work and now I'm doing the same with Dreamfall.
Thank you for this video and the one about The Longest Journey :D I don't have enough time to play both of them, and I wanted to discover the story before beginning with Dreamfall Chapters.
Thanks for this. Not having played the previous titles, I got Dreamfall chapers on a steam sale and needed to get caught up on the story before I actually play it.
Thanks for you comment! :D Yeah if you not know this story (Dreamfall) then you will have a hard time understanding the Dreamfall Chapters story that seamlessly fits to this story. There is also the story: "The Longest Journey". That is the Point & Click adventure (fom 1999) that is all about April Ryan's story, how Stark and Mercuria were created and the introduction of characters that are also in Dreamfall (Like Crow, Brian Westhouse, Benrime the inkeeper, etc). Its the prequel of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. If you don't know the story but don't want to play it (it takes a good 12 hours to get through) and still want to catch up on that story as well, i also made a similar story movie for that game "The Longest Jouney" as well. ruclips.net/video/46KlFUb0evc/видео.html
I'm telling you when you get older these games aren't just "fun" to play to anymore. They will creep up and hit right in the heart. Nostalgia is paradoxical. It's the best and the worst feeling ever.
Just recently played the game (only knowing the original "The Longest Journey" before). The story, development of characters and suspense - everything was outstanding. But what tf was that ending? All main characters (probably) dead, the rebel movement erased (meaning that the Azadi become more powerful than ever) and the "dreamer" still launched on the market. So the entire journey seemed pretty much in vain. Maybe I'm too stupid to get the deeper meaning but that kinda disappointed me...
5:26:39 "Nothing Hurts Now" starts playing... Edit: I've heard somewhere that there are actually two moments with it playing. Can someone help me? I cannot find the second one...
The feeling that the memory of this game gives me is indescribable
One of my favorites. Hits like nothing else. 🖤
This literally takes me back to 2006, life was so much more easier and less heavier

Cool, sauber durchgespielt.👍
Eines der Spiele das mich sehr lange beschäftigt hat. Die Handlung ist genial.
Ironically as time flies when you're having fun, hence this was the shortest journey
If you come here to catch up before playing Dreamfall: Chapters. DON'T !! . Play this game! It is really worth your time.

Omg NOSTALGIA
Really appreciate you editing this into a movie. One of my all-time favorite games.
I liked chapters but Dream Fall the longest journey was better by far

I had to watch this to remember something of this game. It wasn't bad but not nearly as memorable as the first.
Thanks for this. Not having played the previous titles, I got Dreamfall chapers on a steam sale and needed to get caught up on the story before I actually play it.

2:35:09 δon't mind that, it's just a bookmark!
Thank you so much for all of this, now I'm ready for the Dreamfall Chapter 😁
It’s sooo sad when Faith goes to sleep at the end then disappears
Thank you. I enjoyed this even more than watching a good movie.
This is awesome , cheers!
was pretty good until the fat guy from the bloodshot comics(and blade too i guess) came up and said he was hard
one of the best game I play...pure magic ...
Thanks for this I’m almost finished yay
i got to the part after april was fighting the knights and i have only got a little bit farther than that
There are a good few Irish accents in this game

The plot continues in the 'Dreamfall Chapters'. Basically picks it up there this game left it.
