I can't find the video I was gonna ask this question..I emailed you but, haven't gotten anything as of yet. I was wondering where did you get that butter cutter from. You touch those skipjack and it melts through them. I want, no no, I need one.
What batteries do you run your trolling motor and electronics on ?
Two twelve volt lead acid batteries run in parallel for my 24 volt trolling motor. Then an AGM battery from west marine for cranking/electronics. I haven't switched to lithium because of the issues with below freezing charging.
Do you tie your spooks on or thread the eyes ?
That's a dang good question. I'm new to boating, been bank fishing for 40 years. I've ordered planer boards, dragging weights and spooks. I use heavy braid and figured the cheap spooks I've ordered will be the weak link in my setup. I was going to tie a leader to the spook then another leader from the spook to the hook. Now I'll use one leader tied through both ends of the spook to the hook. Thanks.
