I wonder how they surpass the already shown problems from sharding chains, usually they loose sybill resistance and confirmation time slows down the more sharded chains are used

Can you remote desktop to my Computer and set-up my S9 miners to mine to my Kaspa Node ? Every time I try to connect through the Brains OS ? I get dead pool ! I Know it should work in some way ? Because My S9 miners mine Kaspa 24/7 on Unminable .

I did a quick search, Reddit says ASICs worked through Unmineable for others too! This guy is setting up with a pool so it seems like he’s mining Bitcoin and gets rewarded in KAS. I have no idea how you would set up this kind of ASIC for Kaspa without a pool tbh

Hi, Quai token is not live. There’s no presale, but you can earn tokens via testnet and Galxe. There’s no way to tell the price and market cap at this point.

@@VeronikaPolar as far as I know from drK calls, max supply depends on some factors, such as miners/ difficulty etc. Should be disinflationary, but difficult to determine exactly

First of all - Kaspa utilizes utxo model (like for example BTC or Cardano) and we do know because of that BTC and Cardano do not have efficient defi. And I am not sure that blockdag is superior enough over 'classic' blockchains to solve the defi problem in utxo chains...
That's another point to discuss that I did not mention! Kaspa uses UTXO and Quai uses account model for QUAI token and UTXO for QI token. Do you have a personal preference for model one over the other?

@@natukitenatako Functionality-wise yes, but UTXOs are beautiful in their simplicity: lighter weight and efficient
TPS is not BS....Solana cant handle traffic and Eth is ridiculously slow and expensive. Both are also very centralised and are Proof of Stake. Crypto needs a fast solution for onboard and offramp otherwise we are 3 decades behind Visa. That is not the future.
By all mean throughput is important, I agree with you! However, what I mean to say by BS is that the numbers that most chains say as their max TPS are not representative or good for comparison. There are different ways TPS is counted plus in most cases the max number is not even reached to test it out.

I am not convinced that communication between the shards works without any disadvantages and also it sounds less secure / way easier to overtake just a shard by a malicious actor.
I do however hold two projects with sharding (ALPH and NEAR).
@@keiplanvonuet7485Shard communication could be a problem, indeed! However, it would be fair to point out that the devs addressed it in Quai.
1) 3-layer structure + PoEM consensus mechanism address shard communication 2) With these multiple layers and chains, there is “reciprocal validation”, which means that both chains commit to one block, and if that block gets rolled back/proven to be invalid, both chains will be affected. So, even if an attacker is able to accumulate over 51% of hashrate in a single shard and push an invalid state transition in a single shard, that transition will never be broadcasted to other shards as long as more than 51% of the entire network’s hashpower has not been compromised.
Kaspa is rewriting the code code to rust and planning 10 blocks pr sec.

My opinion on the similarities of the three networks is based on the fact that they are all a scalable version of PoW. Every project is unique in how it achieved its scalability, of course. Are you emphasizing the different approaches to scaling, then?

KAS is the end game and DOES support smart contracts. Quai won't reach KAS level in million years.
