First 100 Days Of Toronto Zoo's Giant Panda Cubs

- Born on October 13, 2015, Canada welcomed the first pair of giant panda cubs, weighing only 187 and 115 grams at birth. Today, January 20, 2016, Toronto Zoo celebrates the 100 day milestone for the giant panda cubs who are now robust, fuzzy little pandas with distinctive black and white markings.
This 100 Day celebration follows an ancient Chinese tradition that when a child reaches his or her 100th day of life, he or she has survived the risky fragility of infancy and may be considered on track for a successful future. Watch their incredible journey so far.
Many congratulations to the Toronto Zoo! The cubs appear healthy and happy which is a testament to the wonderful care they are getting.

I'm happy to say these little fuzzy guys live in my city of Toronto. I have not seen panda's in person but i think this year i like to make my way to the Toronto Zoo. It's been about 20 years since i last went.

So happy they have made it this far and can not wait until they are on display! Would have been cool had we been able to meet them while having the pj sleep over at the Zoo last Nov, my kids will never forget that night & we were the 1st to learn about our baby girl polar bear before it was announced to the public.
The Toronto Zoo is a magical place and helps to keep so many species on this planet

Sadly, most of the zoo staff died of heart failure due to having to listen to cute baby panda noises all day.

there was a girl who was on TV news abt the er shun's birthday at Canada. The girl said that "hope er shun have cubs in the future". I was like Wow, she predicted the future.

I think it was around the 3- 4 month mark. In the wild if a panda has twins, she’ll abandon one of the cubs because she’s only physically able to care for 1.

They never venture outside until they're almost a year old, and when they do mother guards them with her life. Pandas may seem all happy and cute, but if you piss off momma, your ass is grass.
In the wild many panda babies died within the first 6 months, so it only have around 1500 to 1800 pandas living in the wild today.
