same here, i remember being a small child having the little mermaid as one of my favorite movies. my mother bought the vhs knowing the voice of thumbelina was also the little mermaid and that i would love it. this song ALWAYS made me cry, because i love her voice and because the lyrics are so true for everyone living. we all want our own love. to me its like the sequel to "over the rainbow" for a girl who is a little bit more grown up and looking to be more than what she is.

Actually, the production for "Thumbelina" began in February 1991 to May 1993 and the recording for the soundtrack with the songs and the score was recorded during 1993.
