When you had laminated the first glass fiber in thr bottom with tge shape concave, Haven't you had any problems without a vacuum? With spray the transparent and then you sanding?
I used a vacuum bag for the bottom just as a precaution. My camera ran out of battery, so that's why it's not in the video. But it is doable without one. You just have to be very careful and patient.
I used the spray paint after the vacuum but it had some small imperfections, dust particles and a bit of orange peel, so I sanded it with a very fine grid sandpaper to flatten the surface a bit more to make it shiny.
