My dvr NIC settings get auto changed from WLAN0 to LAN1 when i click on apply settings and get back to the main screen, the dvr remains online and even streams live video for couple of minutes but after that i am not able to view any live video on my hikconnect app .can u help me with that. I tried configuring it using the video tutorial but what I noticed is that I can only view if I am connected to the router used with the DVR alone. But could not connect if I was using another internet network on my phone. What could be the reason?

You need access with public ip address or using ddns, do port forwarding first on your modem router
