This was too funny 😂 She reminds me of our, three-door down, neighbor back in the 80s...she sounded just like her...the whole vibe and just too funny that our neighbors name was also Charleen, but with a hanging name of Iola and you had to say her name in one breath-couldn’t take no pauses or she would think you had something to say and was holding back from telling her. She always spoke on how her momma would call her Iohhhhhhhhla-reminded me of the Soul Train call out-when something was about to happen to her. Those were the days. She always had a story from when she was growing up and most importantly how she was her towns fashion icon with her homemade lace and flower dresses with her matching hankie 😯😅😃 The hankie, according to her stories, was how she met Milton, her true love, and how she made her frenemy Fiona jealous because she too wanted Milton.
