Hey Joe, welcome back! I'm glad you're still able to continue on with this series. I had originally watched your Subnautica series in 2020 and was thrilled to see that you decided play Below Zero, as well. I don't think I've left a comment before, but wanted to write up a quick one to let you know that I greatly appreciate and enjoy you uploading this series! The Subnautica game has become something of a "comfort game" for me to have on while I'm working on other tasks or projects or when I'm feeling too unwell from my chronic illness. And so, you are one of the people whose playthroughs I've really enjoyed having on and looking forward to your reactions to the game! So in short, thanks for these uploads! I hope you're able to finish out the game eventually, but if not, I completely understand . :) Hope you're doing well.
Thanks so much for this kind comment :) youtube these days is definitely a challenge but I do still intend to get through this - simply out of love for the series
Welcome back (on official come back video) Base building was a good idea, base building is quite relaxing in this game helps give you a sense of control and belonging in the area. Also the sequel really improved base building above water especially. Tintin is fine btw, i prefer it to james (: Aye you are finding loads of Cubs, they may have glitched out in my last playthrough/Maybe i did not find the right dens, the ice lands are massive.
00:24 Aww the baby pengwing just came back from a swim. Did not even realise the babies could swim i just assumed they always stayed on land until they got bigger.
02:09 Pengling: Hey dad what's that big new metal base place over there? Pengwing: You must never go there simba, the land monkeys take our children and make them sneeze.
05:11 To quote Disney's Atlantis "It sounds metallic, could be an echo off one of the rocks" Now do not let the fact that it turned out to be a monsterosity in the film put you off that assumption :-p

Oh, that makes more sense. The uploads of Ep. 26 and 27 were swapped and I totally felt thrown in at the deep end on the last upload, haha
My bad :)
@@ThatJ0eGuy All good, no worries. Glad you're back!

After long enough on this planet it's hard to describe myself as a land-based mammal any more

"Purple Trees" sounds like a Beatles song.
Are we gonna just ignore Joe's "personal stash of lube for special ocassion?" :)
Btw, yeah, that whole basin was pretty frustrating...
Ah good to know it wasn't just me :)
I visited commenting on it in episode 27 so impressed i managed to continue ignoring that this episode as well
