Slovakia’s Matus Durny Jr. shot 50-metre rounds of 711 and 717 points during a domestic event in Jazov on 6 April for a 1428 total score and a new compound men’s world record for the double 50-metre qualifying round.
“There are a couple of days after that but I still cannot believe what happened,” he said. “It was just perfect, everything was great, I’m not sure if there was anything out of my control.”
“Every time I was 100% focused only for myself, nothing like shooting for record or for win, it was just shooting for pure passion.”
