If you listen to old school music like round the 70's all of those singers weren't powerhouses but they made good music, britney spears, madonna, rihanna, janet are all examples of that if you have a decent voice its what you can do with that voice, i mean look at k michelle has a great voice but how many of her songs does everyone really know

@Jovonnie19 Are you talking about the bass part in that harmony? If so that's not her. Many people assume the lead singer did all the parts in the harmony, but that's not always true. A lot of times songwriters do the harmonizes as well (like how Keri, The-Dream & Candice Nelson sang background uncredited on Ci's past records). The note is a A2, but just from looking at Ciara on Ustream (And I rendition more specifically) you can see her struggling to go past a C3, so its unlikely its her lol

If you had any idea about what you were talking about, you would know Ciara didn't start getting vocal lessons until 2005. It takes more than 5 years to fully master vocal techniques. There is a difference between "fragile" voice and having breathy/airy vocals. Listen to Aaliyah "if only your girl knew" her voices goes from deep low breathy notes to light and airy ones. Ciara does it in alot of her ballads and her uptempo songs examples : And I & 1,2 Step.

@VaunTV OMG! hello Toni has a similar sound and tone to them(pretty,breathy/airy voice), I'm talking about sound not vocal capabilites(range, tech, etc). You aren't understanding what I saying and taking things to literally. When I was talking about Aaliyah's deep breathy vocals on low notes I said that to describe the sound and her vocal tone not her range! If your going to compare Ciara to someone you have to pick someone with a similar voice type. Not Keri, Amerie, Nelly Furtado etc.
The video matters. Punch @ the D5 while backbending, u should've included when she did it again on that same performance @ the end, when she sustained it for like 2-3 seconds thou too
