Hi guys, another vid rushing from one place to another... does your truck has 3 pedals in the footwell???? Next to the loud Pedal the one with the large B on it !!! Hit it mate and slow down and enjoy your trip with your missus !!!! Cheers
I was thinking same thing from previous episode.. feels like its always rushing to next destination. No relaxation at all. This trip can be done in 3month or less at this stage. Totally up to them but yea feels rushed.
@@theexplorelife if your doing a lap of aus the whole point is you take ur time snd show where u are whats in the towns ur stopping at. The great Ocean road episode literally showed 8 minutes of the great Ocean road snd there's so much to see u didn't
Cheers for the content peeps. Don’t forget to check out Coffin Bay and the national park - perhaps Gunya Beach dune driving, tuna and kingfish fishing, oysters, etc. Enjoy SA.
Glad you liked our back yard. Slow down a little it’s not a race. You missed soooo much around the south east! To anyone else wouldn’t recommend towing a caravan or a boat through canunda or Beachport to Robe. Especially seeing you guys took the east tracks, right tracks plenty of tight bends and pin stripes on any car!
Killer video guys. You were warned about the trailer haha. Altho by the looks it was actually fairly compact. Its hit and miss there some times you struggle just to drive a 4wd on there coz its so soft.
For anyone considering the Robe to Beachport drive, you can take the tracks behind the dunes to keep off the beaches if you want to play it safe, in particular there is a government map available online that shows exactly where the softest worst beaches are. The very soft beaches are the ones to avoid in particular, unless you're really up for it, if you do/are, run 10-12psi, and go with a friend. The tracks behind the dunes are far less likely to get you bogged, but will still be pretty adventurous as can be seen in the video. You'll spend a lot of time in low range so definitely start with a full tank.
@@jackducky15 I'm not sure if it's legally required or just a good thing to do, you will encounter a lot of blind crests where if someone is coming the other way it's going to be a bit sketchy.
Hey mate, I am planning on doing carpenter rocks to robe in December, struggling to find info. Camp you camp on the beach like they did legally if not where is the best spots to camp? Also what are track conditions like (done a bit of beach driving but coming on my own in December )?
Not usually one for watching couples travel but matt and Jess seem like the perfect fit..... Not a bimbo like others but still cute as hell Hope they slow it down when Jess gets back on the road with him?
Gotta comment before I watch this as I seen the title an wow I can't believe you guys took a van along there through from 3mile to 10mile through to robe now to watch this an see how crazy it was hope all ended well yee yee
great episode mate. but seems like your missing content like camp setups more scenic parts of the trip. the videos do seem very rushed id rather wait extra day or 2 just get that extra bit. but dont get me wrong still love watching the adventure your on mate
That bloody jaffle maker draws as much as my aircon 😅 worth it but! Great episode. How come it seems like you guys are always in a hurry to get to the next spot?!
Oh here we go, this place is getting advertised way to much now an it won't be long until they start locking up the beaches and putting in restrictions. But another cracking vid good work
Yeah if people keep bringing bigger and bigger vans through and digging banks out so they can get through and do product advertising , it will definitely have a negative effect
When we are told that we can't walk or camp in the dunes because it causes erosion you can imagine how I feel seeing this. It isn't a necessary trip but one deliberately to make life hard for yourself to "test out" the vehicle. It was bad when I was pushed off the roads because of more and more larger faster vehicles but when it isn't even safe to walk on a remote beach because 4WD with Ginormous caravans and hooning along it certainly makes me feel that prohibitions are warranted.
Hey guys, great content but as others have said it all seems far to rushed. I feel anxious watching couple of your recent clips as you're always saying you need to keep moving, what's the rush? You got all year, enjoy it! Half the video feels like I'm in your car and I'm supposed to be looking at Google maps to see where to next
Great episode guys. Love the content. Also loving your VH14. We're itching to get up to Qld to look at the VH16 for our next van. How are you finding it? Likes/dislike so far?
Why anyone would even think about taking a setup like that through there has got me beaten tbh. I have been through there a couple of times now and there are beaches that bury even a 4wd on its own let alone that lot not to mention the changing conditions due to the wind.
Great episode. Another good track starts a bit further east at carpenters rocks, not quite as scratchy as the track you went one. Also Nora Crena is known locally as a nudist beach. When i was there last there was an old overweight guy walking along nude except for a cock ring.
Awsome spot down there, but please have some more respect for the tracks. Towing that van through those parts is not appropriate or actually required and you could ruin it for everyone who enjoys that part of the world.
@@jamesmillers2953 I don't believe they did either, would like to be proven wrong. But I know the place well as we go every year . Is there a reason why you are rushing between places so much? The multiple references in this episode (and the last one) about having to hurry to the next place is spoiling the episodes. Hopefully you’ll take peoples feedback on board and slow it down.
Takes caravan on a 4wd only track then complains when he nearly rolls it, because old mate didn't warn him how bad it would be. No such thing as common sense anymore.
