Hi, @navaneethm4979! I'm sad to learn about your condition but a complete radial tear in your lateral meniscus, especially with grade-III changes, is a serious injury. It's crucial to see an orthopedic specialist for the best advice on how to proceed. While exercises may help, your condition might require rest, physical therapy, or surgery. Your healthcare provider can guide you. Avoid self-prescribed exercises, and consult your healthcare provider for personalized guidance. I was squatting the other day. Last set. I dropped down pretty quick and heard a pop. I did 3 more reps. Checked my knee out, then did 8 more reps. 135lb Knee feels kind of weird. I'm hoping it's just a sprain and wearing a hinged brace just in case. When does one begin the rehab process?
Hi, @joserobles8477! If you suspect a knee injury, follow the R.I.C.E. protocol (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) to manage swelling and pain. Avoid putting weight on the injured knee and stay away from activities that make the pain worse. Apply ice to the injured area for 15-20 minutes every 2-3 hours during the first 48 hours to reduce swelling and numb pain, and keep your leg elevated above the level of your heart to reduce swelling. It's best to see a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment. If you heard a pop and felt discomfort, it might be more than a simple sprain. Hi, @nolandsouza4967! Since we aren't able to do a physical exam and see exactly what is going on with your knee, I can't for sure recommend what exercises you should do. However, recovering from a grade 2 LCL tear can be a gradual process, and it's essential to prioritize your health and ensure a safe return to football. Before returning to football, it's essential to have a thorough evaluation by your doctor. Ensure that you are free from pain, swelling, and discomfort in your knee. You should have a full and pain-free range of motion in your knee, allowing you to bend and straighten your leg without limitations. You should have regained strength and stability in your knee and the surrounding muscles. A physical therapist can help you develop a customized rehabilitation program to achieve this. Consider a phased approach to returning to football. Start with non-contact training and gradually progress to full-contact practice and games. Pay attention to any discomfort, pain, or signs of reinjury. If you experience any issues during your return, it's crucial to communicate with your doctor. It's important for you not to rush the process and prioritize your long-term health and well-being over a quick return to football. Let me share the related article for this video. @@FeelGoodLife really 🙏🏼 thank you to help, i have question. Can i take creatine as my knee lcl ligament recovery, is helpful or ????
Hey @harry_sidhu_0! I would suggest that you stick to your doctor's advice: rest, rehab exercises, maybe physical therapy. These are best for healing ligament injuries.
Hi doc , my right knee gives a pop sound when i sit down and it hurts. My doc said it could be a soft tissue injury , what should i do the pain doesnt go away it lasted for an year now ?can i do these exercises?
The only way to get away from the pain is strengthening I torn my ligaments in both knees and as painful as it was I had to strengthen them its been probs 2 months since I started and its now getting better, All the best
Hey @-SreeyaSamala! That sounds tough. When it comes to exercise, it's smart to talk to your doctor first, especially if you're still hurting. They'll help you figure out if those exercises are right for you and your knee.

Doc when i move my knee inside it feels like it's getting dislocated recently i twisted my knee and got a sprain. I had swelling outside my knee.
Sorry to hear about your knee, @ritensinghrawat! It's crucial to see a healthcare pro for a proper diagnosis and advice. They can check your knee and guide you on recovery steps. Try R.I.C.E. (rest, ice, compression, elevation) for now, but reach out to a pro for personalized help.

Can MCL heal by it self?
Hi, @user-rf6ev3gq8g! The MCL is an important ligament in your knee that helps keep things stable. If you hurt it, how well it heals by itself depends on how bad the injury is.

Hello i just got my MRI report . And it says .
Complete radial tear in the middle body of lateral meniscus-Suggestive of grade-iii changes.
Can i improve these with above exercises ?
Hi, @navaneethm4979! I'm sad to learn about your condition but a complete radial tear in your lateral meniscus, especially with grade-III changes, is a serious injury. It's crucial to see an orthopedic specialist for the best advice on how to proceed. While exercises may help, your condition might require rest, physical therapy, or surgery. Your healthcare provider can guide you. Avoid self-prescribed exercises, and consult your healthcare provider for personalized guidance. Wishing you a speedy recovery! 💙🌟

I was squatting the other day. Last set. I dropped down pretty quick and heard a pop. I did 3 more reps. Checked my knee out, then did 8 more reps. 135lb
Knee feels kind of weird.

Hi sir i have lcl strain but no grade mentioned but mild buckle it mentions what should i do
1) start wearing Knee brace while sleeping and walking.
2) Get a hand support.
3)Do this exercise at a slow pace.
These are the things which I didn't do and it made my injury worse.
Hey @ROSUNPL! Dealing with an LCL strain isn't easy. Even with a mild buckle, it's best to see a healthcare professional for personalized advice.

@@zero6972 is strain means tear in lcl ?
@@FeelGoodLifehi sir is strain means tear in lcl ? I have no grade mention in mri can u say me strain means tear ?
Im a footballer n had a grade 2 lcl tear almost 4 months ago.....my leg is fine now but I want to know when I can get back to the sport
